"Maison Zarafah is one of those rare gems you may be lucky enough to come across on your travels. Tucked away on a hillside, a ten-minute easy walk up from the beach in the red-dusted sands on the Popenguine, this beautiful building sits in the middle of a walled-in lush garden with both shade and sun, a beautiful pool, and—best of all—a real sense of community, family and warm hospitality. I loved everything about this stay, especially the wonderful hosts Mame and Moussa, as well as Mia and the overall brilliant group of people who make it look effortless to make you feel at home. - Spacious, cool, comfortable rooms and giant bed - Delicious food, always freshly prepared by the chef team inquiring about exactly what you like - Such tranquility and sense of community - New, beautiful building - So well-priced and worth every penny I have stayed at other places in Popenguine and I can truly say I will never stay anywhere else again. Can't wait to be back. Jërërëf to you all!"

"The house is not right on the beach and that for me was the *only* minus - and a small one. I don't mind a little walk in the locality. It is also a bit of a walk to any store - but, Maison Zarafah really has everything you need."
