Guest reviews for Asleep Hostel
"Excellent location. Literally doesn’t get better. 2 minute walk to train station, night market, 7-Eleven and death railway museum. Affordable motorbike rental at property. Owners and volunteers were helpful. Lots of accurate information on buses/trains."
"Dorm and bathrooms could get crowded, but not bad at all. Family lives here so sometimes the common spaces are occupied by the family."
"The hosts are friendly. It feels like you are one family. Rooms are clean. Its quiet and peaceful at night."
"Nothing. Only regret is I should have spend more days here."
"Best hostel in the world, my favorite place in Thailand."
"Aucun."
"The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hostel is nice and very well located next to a night market"
"I liked almost everything, but the only thing that could be improved is the mattress."
"The owners were super sweet and invited us to their dinner and only let us get up when we were stuffed to the brim😁 The location is perfect, right by the train station, an amazing night market, the Death Rail Museum, and if you’re going to Erawa you can catch the bus from across the street. The AC in the rooms was also great, and there was also a large rooftop where you could hang out (although it was pretty empty). We also got lockers which were large enough to store our valuables."
"No curtains on the beds :("
"Kanchanaburi and this hostel in particular have been such a huge hidden gem in my trip to Thailand. The staff are so warm and kind and will help you in any way possible. Ping Pong and Mimi go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome. And, if she's feeling up to it, Mimi even spent three hours teaching me how to ride a motorbike (for a small fee of course). Overall, they went above and beyond and this hostel has such a warm atmosphere because of it. You will not regret staying at this hostel."
"My only complaint is that not all the beds and rooms have curtains, which is a very small thing that could be added that would add so much to the overall experience of the hostel. But even without, the rooms are comfortable."
"All the staff and volunteers are so great (they are really great). Atmosphere very peaceful and relax. It’s very close to the train station, rooms, showers and toilets are really clean."
"Nothing. I liked all."
"I had a great time. As soon as I arrived I felt very welcomed. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Mimi, you are a gem. Forever grateful for your warm heart. I am so happy I was able to try your delicious food! Special mention to Shishio (as promised), I will miss our late night trips to the local store. Next one is on you, right? Will be back, for sure!"

"This place has just the basics in terms of a hostel, but the staff and volunteers running the place are what make it such a nice and welcoming spot! I also met some really down to earth and cool people here :)"
"The blanket was small and thin, but they gave me another one upon request! The mattresses were also quite slim. I wished they had curtains in the 12-person dorm."
"Mimi, Ping Pong and the rest of the team who make this an exceptional home away from home. Very welcoming with good facilities central to everything including night market."
"Nothing!"

"I had a great stay here in Patong. Ena, the owner, was very helpful and genuinely kind and always ready to assist with anything I needed. The rooms were spotless and the cleaning was truly on point every day. A special mention to May, who made the best breakfast ,fresh, delicious, and served with a smile. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a comfortable, welcoming stay in Patong. I would definitely come back!"

"The area is very quiet, close to Central, and within walkable distance to UD Town (use the bridgewalk by 7-Eleven). Wifi is decent and TV has about 30 channels. The shower has hot water, room has strong AC, and has all utilities as shown in the pictures. I will definitely stay here again in the future."
