"Fantastic location, and the terrace was amazing, although a mosquito net might be helpful at times. The private room was huge and totally worth the price. The laundry facilities were also a huge bonus. Beds were a little hard, but that seems to be common for the region in general."
"The only reason I took off one star is because the bathrooms mostly lacked hand soap. This is bad hygiene no matter what, but especially for a place that has a lot of shared snacks where people stick their hands into shared containers. Otherwise, it was a great place!"
"We got the private bedroom with a king size bed. The bedroom was clean, comfortable, and spacious. There are three complete bathrooms on the same floor, which were never busy and function really well! The common area is clean, they offer some snacks, and it has a beautiful view of the canal and part of the city. It’s also a 5min walk from Khao San Road. This place is really lovely! I would stay there again for sure!"

"It is a ridiculous policy to not keep water bottles in the room. You have to climb down multiple floors to fetch water. No attached bathroom even for the double room. No lift. No restaurant."

"Ten years ago this was the first hostel we stayed in on our very first trip to Thailand and Asia in general. The place changed only to the better. It has everything a guesthouse needs: peace and quiet yet a great location, outdoor areas, amenities. Highly recommended!"

"Everything ! A peaceful location. The lovely staff. Nice and cool room (we took the deluxe twin bed). Nice chill out terrace (one at mid floor with an opening on the calm channel). Cool rooftop. Free coffee, tea…and popsicles ! Plus you can leave your luggage until 6pm the day of your checkout (and for 50 baths take a shower before train, flight, bus…) Could not recommend more"

"Hotel is right off the main road so close to a lot of restaurants and shops, solid 15 minute walk to the beach, and 5 minute walk to the bus stop. The room was clean and amenities were provided. The owner was kind and was limited in English but did her best."

"Per and Sirilak's apartment at Kamala Regent is lovely. Our hosts were very easy to communicate with and provided helpful information on request. Very clean, spacious and comfortable apartment and friendly people to deal with. Walking distance to just about everything under 1km. Some local coffee and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. On-site facilities such as pool, restaurant and gym very nice and clean. Security were happy to call a taxi for us when we weren't up for walking. We highly recommend and would absolutely stay again. Thank you for making our stay in Kamala memorable 💖"

"The apartment is spacious and has everything you need for a short home stay or even longer. Good-sized bedrooms, comfy beds and a nicely set up kitchen. The air conditioner works well. It was lovely to sit on the balcony at night and first thing in the morning and hear the jungle. It is a bit out of the way, so it is quite quiet, which was perfect for us. You will need the use of Grab or hire your own transport to get in and out of Kamala and beyond. The pool was nice and a lovely area to chill out in."
