"Perfect budget friendly huts right off of the beach. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I missed the last ferry over so I lost a night and they let me tack it on at the end so I didn’t actually lose any nights. The restaurant they have serves a great breakfast and the food from their regular menu was also great. This place is a 15 minute walk from town but it’s mostly flat. My partner and I walked back and forth multiple times. Yes the stairs to the beach/restaurant are steep so if you’re in poor health and can’t climb stairs you might not make it down. Otherwise the stairs are were fine. The private beach here is also nice plus they provide beach chairs. Aircon and WiFi worked great and housekeeping came everyday to change trash and give fresh towels. They also change bed sheets every other day. I was skeptical to book here with the mixed reviews but we loved it."

"We loved the location of this quiet hotel, away from the action, and very well-appointed with lots of vegetation. The breakfasts were generous with 4 choices on the menu with a spectacular view of the sea! The hotel provides drinking water with several water dispensers on site."

"The only negative remark we have about this island is that there is a lot of plastic waste on the island, on all the beaches and in the water at sea. Horrible! We wonder why we pay 220 Baht per person to come to this island, 200 Baht to go to the other islands (cost for the marine park) and notice all this waste. And we never understood why we have to pay 10 Baht to leave the port and the same to go to catch our boat."

"We loved our sea view bungalow at Bayview. Such a nice private spot and our room looked out over the water below. The people were also very nice and helpful with On in particular helping make our stay extra fun. What a great guy he is taking care of the beach area for all. The only thing we found to be a little difficult was I did pick up a few chunks of glass off of their beach area so just be careful but that goes for all the beaches on Koh Lipe I'd say from my experiences there. Just wear aqua socks and you'll be fine. Bayview has a great drink special daily with their Mojitos and their breakfast every morning was nice. All in all I'd say Bayview is a nice private spot on a busy little island. We ate dinner their one evening and it was very tasty as well a long with the awesome Sunsets from that part of the island."
