"Everything was amazing here!! I stayed in the hostel bed with the big nets and it was SO comfy and homey - the atmosphere was incredible. I extended one night but was late to book and actually had been “overbooked” so I ended up staying at their aunts house down the street. She was an absolute pleasure and I had a private room there still with access to everything at Cabin Thai. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone visiting Mae Chaem"

"My first cabin experience and I was expecting it would be somewhat rough. However, this cabin is clean with plenty of facilities like a kitchen for making meals and coffee. The owner also allowed me use his professional coffee equipment and beans to brew good coffee for free. The staff and other guests were very nice people. The cleaning lady brought me to a place with one of the best Som Tam I've ever had. The place also has two friendly dogs and cats who will keep you company. Be warned that the dogs get jealous when you pet the cats only. You have to pet them as well. The place is situated near the river and market where you can relax and buy cheap and tasty Thai food. Overally, I'm satisfied with my stay and will definitely go back there if I'm ever visiting Mae Chaem again."

"Hotel is right off the main road so close to a lot of restaurants and shops, solid 15 minute walk to the beach, and 5 minute walk to the bus stop. The room was clean and amenities were provided. The owner was kind and was limited in English but did her best."

"Per and Sirilak's apartment at Kamala Regent is lovely. Our hosts were very easy to communicate with and provided helpful information on request. Very clean, spacious and comfortable apartment and friendly people to deal with. Walking distance to just about everything under 1km. Some local coffee and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. On-site facilities such as pool, restaurant and gym very nice and clean. Security were happy to call a taxi for us when we weren't up for walking. We highly recommend and would absolutely stay again. "The apartment is spacious and has everything you need for a short home stay or even longer. Good-sized bedrooms, comfy beds and a nicely set up kitchen. The air conditioner works well. It was lovely to sit on the balcony at night and first thing in the morning and hear the jungle. It is a bit out of the way, so it is quite quiet, which was perfect for us. You will need the use of Grab or hire your own transport to get in and out of Kamala and beyond. The pool was nice and a lovely area to chill out in."
