"Everything, the bungalow was new and tasteful, the bathroom was modern, the shower was separated so no flooding of the whole bathroom while taking a shower. Everything was so easy check in took about 3 minutes, renting a motorbike took about 2 minutes. Free coffee in the reception area. Absolutely quiet location but still walking distance to some good restaurants and a very nice bar. Last but not least very friendly and helpful host. I'll be back."

"There’s something very chill about the place but then again I suppose the whole island is like this. The lady at the reception (the owner?) was extremely kind and helpful. They have free coffee and tea throughout the day, they rent bikes, do laundry, arrange transfer tickets just like almost everywhere else in Thailand. There’s a nice garden with hammocks, the room I stayed in had a toilet & shower, good vent which I’ve barely used. Overall a wonderful experience. I would stay here again"

"Hotel is right off the main road so close to a lot of restaurants and shops, solid 15 minute walk to the beach, and 5 minute walk to the bus stop. The room was clean and amenities were provided. The owner was kind and was limited in English but did her best."

"Per and Sirilak's apartment at Kamala Regent is lovely. Our hosts were very easy to communicate with and provided helpful information on request. Very clean, spacious and comfortable apartment and friendly people to deal with. Walking distance to just about everything under 1km. Some local coffee and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. On-site facilities such as pool, restaurant and gym very nice and clean. Security were happy to call a taxi for us when we weren't up for walking. We highly recommend and would absolutely stay again. "The apartment is spacious and has everything you need for a short home stay or even longer. Good-sized bedrooms, comfy beds and a nicely set up kitchen. The air conditioner works well. It was lovely to sit on the balcony at night and first thing in the morning and hear the jungle. It is a bit out of the way, so it is quite quiet, which was perfect for us. You will need the use of Grab or hire your own transport to get in and out of Kamala and beyond. The pool was nice and a lovely area to chill out in."
