"This is not a Ritz Carlton hotel. It is a very small motel located near the Phuket Airport and Nia Yang Beach. My needs were for a comfortable, quiet, room with a comfortable bed and hot shower. I'm only looking for close access to the beach and cheap room for 3 days before my diving adventure began. It served that purpose and suprised me as being extremely clean and well kept property. Hot shower and a clean king sized bed were perfect for my needs. Beach was a 10 minute walk away. Winrisa Place is a fantastic value for the traveler who is looking for a short stay between flights in and out of Phuket."

"Hotel is right off the main road so close to a lot of restaurants and shops, solid 15 minute walk to the beach, and 5 minute walk to the bus stop. The room was clean and amenities were provided. The owner was kind and was limited in English but did her best."

"The apartment is spacious and has everything you need for a short home stay or even longer. Good-sized bedrooms, comfy beds and a nicely set up kitchen. The air conditioner works well. It was lovely to sit on the balcony at night and first thing in the morning and hear the jungle. It is a bit out of the way, so it is quite quiet, which was perfect for us. You will need the use of Grab or hire your own transport to get in and out of Kamala and beyond. The pool was nice and a lovely area to chill out in."
