"We loved our stay. From the minute we stepped in we felt immediately welcomed. The staff is very attentive to details. The place is beautiful. Our suite had plenty of space and was very comfortable. The location is excellent. Breakfast was nicely served and sufficient. We wanted to extend our stay but unfortunately they were full."

"Charming location with lovely architecture and tiles, funky antiques sprinkled throughout, and a welcoming atmosphere. The location just within the walls of the Medina is a perfect jumping off point for sightseeing. The breakfast service was wonderful and we enjoyed dining in the central courtyard. Be aware that Kairouan boasts over 80 mosques within the confines of the Medina, so be prepared for resounding a 5am call to prayer. Don’t miss this spot when planning a visit to Kairouan!"

"The on site parking in an adjacent alley is snug. It took us a few minutes of halting french with a local traffic officer to understand that you can drive into the Medina entrance and park in the alley as a guest of the hotel."

"Dar Koraich staff were so responsive and communicated well with us prior to our arrival. The reception was great even though we arrived later than we thought we would. The rooms were amazing and we felt like we were in a bubble of peace inside the bustling Medina. A Special shoutout to the gentleman at the reception for his attention to detail."

"The room was very clean. Complimentary water was provided. The building is outstanding and directly in the city centre. Good for one night."

"The staff made little effort to explain to us the city, environments and the hotel (e.g. to explain the minibar system in the room without any price list; or recommendations for dinner). Some of the breakfast dishes were served (even though served in a nice hand of Fatima platter) to other guests before us, leaving breadcrumbs inside, which doesn’t appeal."

"Beautiful looking Dar, very comfortable firm bed, fantastic shower pressure! The hammam area was very pretty and the tea and strawberries there were lovely. I was a bit confused by them asking if we had a good hammam when there was no steam, it we enjoyed the jacuzzi!"

"Freezing outside our room (it did seem exceptionally cold weather though). Fatima was lovely and very helpful, though some of our communications seemed to be lost in translation! Although they very helpfully tried to cater for my dietary requirements, dinner was cold (albeit tasty), as was coffee and my partners eggs in the morning - both on the table before he got there"
