Cheers Hostel Istanbul is set within Sultanahmet, just minutes from Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. It offers a terrace bar with views of the Old Istanbul. Accommodations at Cheers Hostel are individually decorated and come with air conditioning. Common bathrooms are found along the halls. Linen and towels are provided. The hostel’s Wintergarden Terrace & Panoramic Bar serves kebabs and international cuisine. Guests can as well take advantage of a self-mixed Mojito. Cheers Hostel is situates only a few minutes’ walk from tourist attractions such as the Underground Cistern, Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar. People between the ages of 18-40 can retreat in dormitory suites. There is no age limit in other quarters.

"Great location in a beautiful area, close to all the main attractions. The hostel has an amazing atmosphere with very friendly and welcoming staff. The manager is incredibly responsive and shows genuine empathy towards guests. It feels like home, with a true sense of community. Compared to other hostels, it’s lively and full of people, even outside of peak season."

"Everything was beyond amazing at my stay here. The staff were extremely warm and welcoming, they made sure you felt like home. As a first time solo traveler I felt safe and secure staying at this hostel. I would recommend this stay for anyone looking to make friends and socialize. The location of this hostel is breathtaking and for the price is unbeatable! Loved everything about this stay and would stay again!"

"There’s a rooftop bar - it's rowdy and very noisy until past midnight. Likewise during breakfast you need to take your food at once, going back to get your dessert/fruits past 11 a.m. those staff will not accommodate you even just 2 minutes past 11 a.m"
"We stayed in a separate building including stairs. Plan accordingly. The staff carried our bags both up to our room and back down. Location was within walking distance of the Cistern, Haga Sophia, Blue Mosque, Galata Bridge and Bosphorus Ferries. No need for transit!"

"The Staff, Reception people, and Kitchen ladies for breakfast they are very kind with smiles. The breakfast fast time is good and the food is not bad as breakfast, alot of options with coffee and tea and they will ask you for more if you need."
"1- The private rooms based in another building, it's not far but at another building. It's mentioned that the privat room have separate entrance but it should be mention the different building. 2- The floor mat not clean enough. 3- No Prayer mat in the room and they will not provide for you, They advised me to pray on the second bed sheet 🤣 4- The fridge is not working and is inside the clothes cupboard! I didn't complain it, but when I am checking out I mentioned to tbe staff and they said will repair it if I complian."
"The location was perfect. Views of the Hagia Sophia mosque from the windows. The staff is amazingly welcoming and helpful. I visited this hostel for the first time in 2021 and have gone back again in 2025. If I'm visiting Istanbul, I will be staying at this hostel again and again."

"The size of the room was good, everything was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable, aircon worked well and there was a balcony to the back side. With the windows and doors closed, it wasn't too loud, however I use to wear earplugs anyway when staying in hotels. The breakfast buffet was nothing special, but sufficient. There are countless small shops, eateries and a supermarket right around the hotel and it's only a few minutes walk to the beach promenade. The value for the money was really good and I ended up staying four days instead of the one planned, because the town and the surroundings were so pleasantly nice and laid back."
