"Clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Good shower, good breakfast. A two minute walk to the beach. Great restaurants nearby."

"The property was lovely, but the host is even better! mona Lisa and Fatma are super warm and welcoming and make you feel right at home. Breakfast was amazing, and we absolutely loved the outdoor couches to lounge around in."

"Mona Lisa went the extra mile to make us feel welcome, organising massages, taxis and excursions. What really made the difference though was when I dropped my wallet in a taxi. I was over 50km away but she made it her personal mission to make sure she retrieved it and had a friend bring it to me the very same evening. Outstanding! Thank you ❤️"

"The location was great and we felt like we got a much more authentic experience than if we would have gone to some of the big hotels instead. The breakfast was great, the staff was really friendly and helpful at all times especially Mona Lisa who runs the place and does an amazing job as a host. She let us borrow an extra fan and even switch rooms when we were having trouble sleeping because of the heat and she was accommodating to any requests or needs we had. She also helped us with laundry and allowed us to checkout later. Overall really nice stay and I would recommend!"
"It can get quite hot in the rooms but it's easily solvable if you talk to Mona Lisa so not a big problem at all."
"Comfortable and clean, friendly people. Short walk to the beach and near lots of restaurants, basic food shops. Convenient visiting certain places, it’s an hour across from the airport and ferry."
"Breakfast is basic- 1 egg and toast daily. Cereal would be good."
"Everything was more than perfect! Mona was so special and allowed us to live real local experiences! That was exactly what we were looking for! Rooms were clean and cozy, location just perfect and the atmosphere very welcoming and relaxing. Thank you so much! Our experience wouldn't have been the same without Mona and Mudi house!"

"We liked the location, very close to the beach but still inside the village, we liked the food and the vibes, it was amazing to stay in Mudi house and talk with locals"

"The staff were so kind and helpful. The breakfast was good, I loved the fresh juice and fruit every morning. The location is perfect and the beach is right outside. The rooms were comfortable and clean, as well as the bathrooms. The kitchen facilities were great for budget travellers if you wanted to cook for yourself. Loved Jambiani as it was quiet and more peaceful than Paje. I would return in a heartbeat and wish we could have stayed longer."

"I travel quite a lot and rarely give such a high rating. But this one is really beautiful place, just half a minute from the beach, with absolutely friendly and attentive hostesses Monalisa and Fatuma. Expect very plentiful breakfasts, clean and tidy rooms and backyard as well, phisical security at night time, let's say in couple words - highly recommend! And dear tourists, don't forget to give some tips for the staff, they are doing their best to make you happy and satisfied with your stay!"

"Veramente favoloso! Riassumendo....meraviglioso e fortemente consigliato."

"The value here was phenomenal. Nice hotel right next to the center of Stonetown but off the main tourist path enough that it feels quiet and secluded. Great shower and decent size room."
"Clean and the hosts always available for anything needed."

"Very Staff. Located in the middle of Stone Town. Good breakfast at the Shoki Shoki Hotel. 24h Access due to friendly Maasai guard. All in all 10/10 definitely would recommend."
