"The staff was really great, very warm welcome. The food is really good as well! They even packed up a breakfast box as we had to leave early the next morning to get in a flight to safari. The room is very spacious and comfy, with a super comfortable bed and reasonably good shower."

"Not really a complaint, but the location is not the best. Even though it's relatively near to the airport, the traffic in Arusha is quite something, and the road is not great. But considering that you're in the middle of Africa, that's more than okay."

"The hotel arranged our airport transfer, which was excellent; the driver was even kind enough to take us to visit an art gallery on the way. The welcome at the hotel was fantastic. The property itself is beautiful, an old house full of character, surrounded by lovely gardens and with lots of wooden details that give it a special charm. The food was excellent, tasty and of very high quality. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well designed. The staff were outstanding – attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. Overall, the hotel has a very stylish and peaceful atmosphere. Considering the prices in the area, the value for money is very good."

"From the moment I arrived at the property, the staff treated me with such kindness. They automatically upgraded my room, were attentive, and ensured my comfort for the entire stay. The room was extremely clean and the area around the hotel was green and well managed. The restaurant also had some of the best food I ate while in TZ. 100/10 recommend."

"The balcony and the breakfast were excellent. Very friendly staff and clean rooms. There are a group of birds that hang out by the pool and they are a lot of fun to watch. The rooms are spacious and clean."

"The hot water for the shower was good but not great and the beds were a little on the firm side for my liking. The room says it has a view of the mountains but that's not really the case. Overall very nice local hotel."

"This is hands down the best hospitality I’ve ever experienced. The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming. They even cleaned our dusty shoes since we had just come from safari. We ate dinner out by the pool which was so pretty. The property is very lush with trees, flowers, and birds everywhere. The room was clean and comfortable. Would recommend this to anyone coming to Arusha. Food was wonderful too!!! Thank you everyone!"

"The hotel was beautiful. The room was quite large, with a very comfortable terrace and a very nice bed. The best part, besides the food, was the staff who were always at our disposal, trying to help us with everything we needed. The place is highly recommended for more than one day."

"This villa was everything and more. The staff went out of their way and made my husband's birthday memorable. The decorations for his surprise birthday celebration were on point, the cake, dinner, champagne, everything was perfect. The rooms are spacious. The bed was very comfortable. We had a beautiful balcony with views of Mt Meru. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. I'd recommend their natural juice which was very good. They also have a massage and salon on site. And they had a taxi guy with reasonable rates who drove us whenever we needed transport. Overall I'd 10/10 recommend Villa Arumeru. The hospitality of the staff is unmatched."

"Reviews capture this but it’s worth repeating: the facility and staff are exceptional; the rooms are very comfortable; they had a driver waiting for us at the airport after our long flight; although in a tight non-western warren of streets and homes, we felt safe; we were amazed at the bird life in the gardens on the grounds; staff arranged for a driver to take us into town and meet us after, and later deliver us to our tour location. We would highly recommend."
