"I enjoyed staying at the hotel. Located in the historical neighborhood, in the renovated old building, the hotel has lots of artefacts from the past that made you feel cosy, as if staying at the elderly relatives. The room was warm and looked very authentic to Bukhara. The breakfast served in the morning had different vegetable, egg and sweet options."

"The hotel was accommodating when realising that my elderly mother would be better being on the ground floor. The location is great, within a stone's throw from the main square in Bukhara's old town. The host was also helpful with carrying our bags when leaving, given that it is not always easy for cars to drive up every very narrow street in the old town."

"Amazing location, lovely historic property, and terrific staff. Vladimir, the manager, was incredibly helpful to me. My glasses broke while I was staying at the property and he made it his business to get them repaired. He did this on what was probably one of the hottest days of the summer and without asking for any payment (of course I forced him to take something for his trouble)! He has the gift of appearing when you might be in need of something and being invisible when you are desiring privacy. As a female traveling independently, I found the Emir to be a very comfortable place to stay."

"The hotel is surrounded by greenery and offers a calm, relaxing atmosphere. It is about a 12–15 minute walk to the main road, where you can find supermarkets, fast-food outlets, and various restaurants. The TV Tower is also within walking distance, just over 20 minutes away. All staff members were warm, approachable, and efficient, which greatly enhanced the overall experience."

"The family host. The experience of preparing food with the family and the rural life. The kindness of the staff and how well organized their preparation for every small detail like preparing the dough, the oven , making the bread, preparing tables and salads. As a matter of fact, i have visited many places and gone through many experiences this year. I rate this one as the most memorable experience. If you are visiting Uzbekistan for many activities, this experience would be adequate to forget about everything else."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this guesthouse in the mountains. The family who run it were so kind to us, and cooked us delicious dinners (including catering very well to my vegetarianism). The location is perfect for walks in the mountains and valleys nearby. The accommodation is as to be expected for a mountain guesthouse: cosy but basic."

"What a wonderful family, and clean & spacious room, surrounded by greenery and the sound of a stream in the background. I was sick during my stay and the eldest daughter ordered a taxi for me and came with me to the hospital where she waited for two hours until I could leave. They also arranged for a great driver called Vali to pick me up in Samarkand, and afterwards to bring me to Bukhara. I returned to this place a second time, and the family welcomed me back with big hugs. Their food is also excellent."

"Very friendly and gracious hosts with beautiful home cooked dinner and breakfast in the garden with produce grown in their home. They were very helpful and catered well to us, including arranging our transport and also a horse excursion. The eldest son, Shukr, was particularly enterprising and helpful and seems to be the brain of the logistics. Thank you!"
