"Beautiful farm surrounded by mountains - secluded and just far enough from everything. Wonderful mini hikes to explore around the farm. Kids loved the unconventional accommodation and all the animals and made a friendly four-legged friend!! Perfect place for family time."
"The steps in the Towers eventually works on older knees and may not be suitable for the elderly and small kids, but all visible before booking and was not an issue for us, just take note :)"
"The farm is absolutely stunning and is in the most amazing location. There are beautiful mountain views, hikes, drives and adorable Alpacas, horses and cows all over this working farm. Family loved the setting in the Twin Towers which had everything we needed."
"Not much - we loved the location and the amenities were more than sufficient."
"The accommodation was truly unique and offered such a wonderful experience. Set in a beautiful and peaceful farm environment, it was the perfect place to relax and recharge. We especially enjoyed the boma area, taking walks on the farm with our puppy, and soaking in the stunning views. What made our stay even more memorable was being able to share quality time here with our grandparents, parents, children, and even our puppy. A truly special setting for family time."
"The only challenge we had was that there are quite a lot of steep stairs, which made it a bit difficult for my mom who has some walking difficulties — but we managed to make a plan for her. Also, the area right at the top of the tower could have been a little cleaner."
"Beautiful view. The horses and alpacas. The unforgettable uniqueness of the old silos that were converted into arty, comfy rooms."
"Everything was great"
"A Magical Escape in the Heart of the Eastern Free State We had the absolute pleasure of staying in the iconic Twin Towers at Fairview Estates, and it exceeded every expectation. The setting is storybook-beautiful — surrounded by serene mountains, reflective dams, and herds of charming alpacas and spotted horses. The converted grain silos are both rustic and artistic, with warm interiors, quirky decor, and panoramic views that steal your breath away. From morning coffee beside the fire pit to sunset walks with the animals, every moment was grounding and magical. The hosts have created a soulful retreat where comfort, creativity, and nature live in harmony. This place isn’t just a stay — it’s a memory etched in stone and sky. Highly recommended for couples, families, and anyone needing a peaceful reset."
"Everything is Special"
"Farm is beautiful and peaceful. Beds are warm and cottage is well equipped."

"Peaceful and secluded in a picturesque setting. The eclectic and carefully curated decor, and transformation of a once twin silo into a twin tower bungalow is brilliant. We loved the working farm animals, especially the quirky Alpaca and majestic horses. All in all a fantastic and highly recommended experience for a couple."
"So much attention has gone into making the towers cosy and comfortable. A consideration is to upgrade the couches in the lounge area."
"The units are beautiful. The cookies, wine and olive oil were very welcome. We enjoyed our stay!"
"There was not enough cupboard space. We stayed for 2 nights & could just about squeeze everything in. Any longer and someone will have to live out their suitcase."
"Very unique accommodation!! The houses are fully equipped with everything that one needs. Set between the most beautiful mountains. This is a must stay!"
"Aucun."
"Quirky accommodation next to dam with the most spectacular views of the sandstone mountains. Great place if you are looking for something away the crowds - blissful solitude. Used it as a base for surrounding areas, including Clarens. The off grid solar works perfectly, there is even a small tv. Worth the walk to the overhang cave and potholes."
"Gas fridge and gas shower (although expected for off grid) were the least fun part. Not an issue for us, but note there is an 18 km gravel road to the farm."

"Fantastic views, huge cabins and feels very private. The terrace, built in braii and wood fired hot tub made it very special and comfortable. The accommodation itself is very spacious and our family of four fitted very comfortably. The setting is beautiful and extremely well kept. Very close to Wilderness town and gorgeous beaches, but nice to retire to the woodland at the end of a day. The family who run it are so friendly and welcoming, we would highly recommend!"
