"We only stayed one night on our way to Rivas. It was easy to find the cabins, and check-in was quick. Cabins are well equipped, and the bed was comfortable. It's a beautiful location!"

"The room was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was very tasty with plenty of choice. Unfortunately the weather was not so good when we were there but there was a nice walkway down to the beach and a nice pool area and I would certainly come back and stay for longer in the summer when this hotel would really come into its own."

The staff member served us breakfast but as it was laid out as a buffet I think I'd rather have just helped ourselves. We were the only ones there so it felt a little strange having someone waiting around just in case we wanted an extra slice of break or cup of coffee.

Access to gluten-free bread and products was a bit difficult, we had to ask at the reception for a few slices of bread. The staff were very kind and helpful, but I think the gluten-free options could be more easily accessible and a bit more varied. Overall, a great experience!

"The accommodations are wonderful. The view from the back balcony is breathtaking as it overlooks the ocean. It is very comfortable, clean, spacious and inviting. Renalda greeted us when we arrived and was a great contact in the Dominica."

It is about a 30-45 minute walk into the town of Roseau. It is a short walk uphill to accommodations if you do not have vehicle.

"One gets into the apartment via a fence on the left of the building shown in the photo. One has to call the host, and they open the main door and the room door, where you can then pick up keys on a desk. The host was super responsive, available and nice, and even let us check-out one hour later, which was wonderful. The apartment itself was quite nice, with all the facilities we needed, and the location was incredible, just some minutes away from the Christmas market square. We even managed to use the TV to watch a series."

It is a bit complicated to shower without water going beyond the shower limits, but it was no big deal.

What is there not to like especially if you're a nature person.

"The room was huge and the location was very convenient. The staff was very friendly. Plenty of hot water available. The room was clean and spacious. There's a restaurant on the upper floors and breakfast options if you spontaneously decide to have breakfast at the hotel. There's also a cafe at the reception where you can grab a coffee. Overall, had a nice stay at this property."

Just note that you're in the heart of Osu, so expect loud music and parties, especially during the weekend. Bring earplugs!

"Aparthotel Gaja is just 5 minutes walk from Lake Bled. The room was large, it was clean and well equipped. Reception was friendly and responsive, we were able to park and charge our e-bike in their garage. Breakfast was huge and amazing!"

Access by bike from the lake was a bit tricky because of road works, needed to take a loop. But hopefully that would be done soon.

"The staff meet us at the front office with all the keys and explained to me everything about the location. She took me around the facilities. There were two local eateries in the area. We went to one and it was great. It was my granddaughter birthday so the staff left a vas of flowers and a happy birthday card."

The prices of the meals very high even kids' meals. However, we went to the supermarket and eat in two night.

We were locked out when we first arrived as our code had been changed but we hadn't been updated.

"We arrived with friends, quickly found the hotel, asked the reception for the floor and went up We were met quite quickly and dealt with the registration in a couple of minutes, after which they gave the keys and we got into the room The room was clean, comfortable, everything we needed, we all enjoyed our stay in it"

The room was not the one with rock stars, but it was not critical for us, although it would be a nice bonus

"We loved the unique location; watching the planes was a cool experience and the noise didn't bother us one bit. The apartment was clean with a great Caribbean vibe, and we really appreciated being within walking distance of the beach bars and our friendly host."

There isn't anything to complain about, though there were a few mosquitoes in the evening (which is the case at every place), so bring some bug spray.

"I've stayed at this place for over 20 years and it has always been reliable. It is clean, quiet, and safe. This is not luxury of course and the furniture might be from a few generations ago but it is practical and very very clean. There is a small kitchen to allow you to make coffee and other small dishes. For the price it is an excellent choice and the location is superb."

It would be nice if it would be able to heat the room a little bit more. Traditional places in Lima tend to not bother much with heating or air conditioning because the temperature usually stays the same at around the 60s

"Good resort with multiple apartment buildings. We got huge 100m2 apartment on second floor with sea view. Parking is on the ground floor. Resort has good pool working till 21.00. Down the hill 100 meters to the beach. Cristal clear water but with small jellyfishes, not hurting when touches. Free tennis courts with free rockets/balls."

"Centrally located in a safe neighborhood, with plenty of nearby dining options and convenient food delivery services. The breakfast was good, and the staff were very accommodating. They also offer luggage storage, which is a great plus. Just outside the apartment, there’s a coffee shop that also serves ice cream and baked goods, making it very convenient."

There was some noise that could be heard from our room, which occasionally disrupted the otherwise quiet ambiance.
