Condo Hotels in the British Virgin Islands

"Overall, a really nice stay and a good value for the location. Being connected to the hostel next door was surprisingly convenient. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and luggage storage was easy. The room felt more like a small apartment than a hotel room. Plenty of space, and both the bed and couch were very comfortable. The staff was also incredibly friendly."

The in-room amenities were a bit sparse compared to what I expected. The WiFi was honestly very poor, which is a drawback for a place that markets itself to a coworking crowd. Also, I was charged 50% to add an extra guest despite it being a full apartment. I paid it without issue, but if I’d booked for two guests from the start, the price difference would have been negligible, if anything, so that policy felt a little off.

Me and few other people staying in other rooms did not recieve info about code or room numbers, but hopefully the code message has been fixed by now :)

"The location was excellent - a few minutes' walk to a very nice, sandy beach that was great for kids (shallow, sandy, calm). There was a restaurant (adjacent property) on the beach, the food was so-so, but it was a great location. The unit was clean, reasonably stocked with what we needed, beds were comfortable. Three bathrooms, two showers. We used the outdoor patio for several meals. The hose by the door to clean our feet. Several nice restaurants a short drive away (Italian was good). Parking was easy. We did a boat/snorkel outing one morning (Nemoz, Ben and Tony were great) and they picked us up right on the dock at the beach. The snorkeling was quite nice. Kayak and other rentals right at the beach."

Only air conditioned in two of the bedrooms. The loft area was blazing hot and there are no windows in the loft that can be opened to create some ventilation (e.g., at night with the provided fan). A portable AC unit or something is needed to cool off this space. The roof leaked, but this was a minor issue. There were no coffee pods or dishwasher pods in the unit, we had to go buy some from the front desk. We checked in slightly after 5pm (lock box), so when we got up in the morning - no coffee! The front desk did not open until 8am? Seriously, we paid a fair amount for the rental and it's ridiculous that 4 or 6 coffee pods (3 bedroom unit) could not have been provided to start with - buy more as needed. Same for the dishwasher (provide one or two pods).

We chose not to rent a car and found it difficult to get taxi drivers who wanted to bring us to the end of the street. We tipped well, people would give us their number and then not answer. Was not the condos fault but surprised at the taxi drivers

The cleanliness of the apartment itself was so bad. The sheets weren’t clean, the pillows didn’t have covers, the kitchen top was filled with spilled oil, the couch was half broken, there were mosquitoes everywhere and generally the entire place was very difficult to find comfy

The road leading to this accommodation is not asphalt, so driving or walking can be challenging.

"The best thing of this apartment is the proximity to the beach. It has all the commodities you might need for 2 people, you can even cook there."

The room was rather small and it's confusing how you need to take out the garbage, The bins do not work without a card, the owner didn't explain how to do it. I stayed there with my husband and there were 2 separate mattresses put together, and that was a bit uncomfortable. The owners could also add some beach equipment for their guests, like a chair, towels or something for the wind, since it can get really windy there.

"Room was great and spacious. We very much loved the bed, kitchen, bathroom, pool, and BBQ. We felt like we had almost our own private boutique suite and for most of the time exclusive use of pool, pool deck, upper balcony, and BBQ as others were off touring about. Met Steve the owner who was super friendly, helpful, shared some extras, and would highly recommend Beachwalk Residences."

"Beautiful original palace from 19th Century, surrounded by an old park and overlooking the lake. The views are stunning. Very good breakfast and delicious food at the restaurant. We also like an allowance for the Aqua Park. Getting there was easy and the hotel has a spacious parking lot."

I'd expect to have a small tea / coffee station at the room.
