"-The location is great. -The view is amazing — you’re surrounded by skyscrapers, city / sea view. -Staff are friendly, cooperative, and respond very quickly to any request. -The hotel is clean. -Check‑in and check‑out procedures are very quick. -The room is spacious. -Breakfast is tasty. -Flexible check‑in and check‑out times."

-The TV is not a smart TV. -The bed is small and not comfortable enough. -From time to time, food odors can be smelled, especially on the upper floors. -There is no heating during cold winter nights — the AC keeps running even when it’s cold. -The shower area slope is incorrect, causing water to flow outside the shower area. -The price is slightly high. .. Improvement Areas (Not Considered Cons): -There are many open parking spaces around the hotel, but it would be great if the hotel could manage one of these areas as an official hotel parking lot. -The dining area needs to be expanded to accommodate more guests. -The number of power sockets is not enough. -Hot water takes time to arrive — it’s not instant, so this should be improved.

"Het meest beviel ons de rust en hygiëne. We aten ontbijt en diner in het hotel. Vantevoren konden we aangeven hoe laat we het wilden hebben en wat we wilden eten. De kok luisterde goed naar onze wensen. Verder is het personeel zeer behulpzaam en helpt wanneer nodig."

Eigenlijk viel niets echt tegen. Omdat het een nieuwe lokatie is, merk je dat de medewerkers nog wat onwennig zijn en moet je pro-actief zijn. Zo hadden we handdoeken en een kopje voor 1 persoon op de kamer terwijl we met zijn tweeën waren. Als je erom vraagt zorgen ze snel dat het wordt opgelost. Als je TV wil kijken, houd er rekening mee dat je alleen YouTube video's kunt bekijken 😀 De lokatie is gelegen op een zeer stil punt in Zomba en heeft geen buitenterras, dat zou nog wel fijn zijn. En, zoals je wel vaker tegenkomt in Malawi, het weggetje ernaartoe is een zandpad met stenen en kuilen, dus houd daar rekening mee.

"The room was quite nice, clean & well planned. Good lighting. Ventilation was a bit challenging. The upper window was very hard to reach to open & close. Quiet for right on the street."

"The beds were comfortable and if you found the private bathroom the shower there was the best I have ever had anywhere. Good pressure and hot water. The location is great because it is close to the shops. They have a restaurant there and while the prices are a bit steep the food was quite good."

The place is a hotel in the process of renovation. It is a little old and had seen grander days. Our rooms while having clean beds saw windows that had cobwebs on them and flaky paint. The kitchen is communal and there was just one mug for all. The dish rags were used and dirty. There is a huge clock tower which is a feature of the town and it chimes all through the night. So if you are a light sleeper ask for a back room off the road. The bar staff in the hotel were excellent but there was a dispute with the owner who had posted different information on Booking.com from the room we received. We wanted two separate beds and were initially given one. After additional money was paid we got one room with two beds.

Every request was met with kindness, and their presence added a personal touch that you don't often find in luxury boutique hotels. If you are looking for a place where you are treated with authentic hospitality and care, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The room and food are overpriced for the quality. Inconvenient location. They don’t seem to use or check Booking so it was pointless to make a reservation in advance. Maybe during the high season that will be more useful.

"The property is located directly on the beach. It is quiet and the apartment is spacious. I absolutely loved it, but the location is on the opposite side of the island from almost all attractions. Rent a car, not from Andy’s at the Ferry, but definitely rent a car. Taking a taxi from one side of the island to the other is about $35-$40 one way."

"This was a nicely designed hotel, with spacious rooms. Conveniently located for Yala safari pickups. There was even a peacock to greet us every morning outside our balcony!"

Though the room was mostly clean, there were some stains on our sheets. The friendly staff quickly rectified this. When we had to leave early for our safari, there was no staff available on site to unlock the gate and we had to do a real life jailbreak from the hotel! Also the water is reliant on solar so you may have to have a cold shower on a cloudy/rainy day.

"It was an amazing experience. Staff was friendly and professional in the same time. Facilities were clean at all times. Room was spacious and clean, cozy bed. We have had full access at the spa area, where was relaxing( 3 different saunas, pool, jacuzzi), also noticed the cleanness at all times. I warmly recommend this location."

"The hosipitality from all staff was amazing. Everyone was extremely helpful and understanding of all the cross border challenges we experienced. Our group was even offered transportation to and from the airport. Staff checked up with us every step of the way from pre-check in to post airport drop off.The rooms were beautifully set up and clean throughout our stay. The beachfront access and views can't be beat, however it's a little far from town and therefore difficult to leave the hotel to go to restaurants, shops etc. without a car.

The rooms are a good size and there was a nice deck. The bathroom had a pretty strong mildew smell and the shower was quite weak.

Breakfast (really good) starts at 8.30. Should at 6.30 or. 7.00. Sound isolation not too good. Instead of infrared could have been proper sauna.

Very isolated, surrounded by an abandoned resort. Menu very limited and expensive although the chef was very obliging and did cook of menu dishes for those who asked. Our room wasn’t cleaned twice and we had to remind someone to do it, we had to move rooms as the toilet facilities broke on our first room but this was handled quickly. For the cost of the room I would have expected a little more e.g. bottled water free in the room, tissues to be available in the room, better quality toilet paper.
