"Great little hotel in the mountain of Zaros. Family that runs it is very friendly with suggestions on things to do and places to eat. There is a small pool on the roof which would be great in the summer but a little cold in October. Rooms are big with private balconies and very comfortable. Don’t miss Vegera for dinner, some of the best home cooking I had in Crete."

"The owners Valina and Michalis were wonderful hosts. We truly appreciate their hospitality and the time Valina took to share her story as well as the miracle of the St. Kyriaki Church in Zaros. It was a blessing for us especially being the names day for my wife."

"Keramos is Family hotel in village Zaros. We stayed one night. In the morning we were on the road early to follow our schedule, so we didn't have time for breakfast. I'm sorry about that because I can imagine it would be another pleasure from a family kitchen. Nearby there is a hotels car park space. The pictures on the site speak for themselves and it's real! The real pleasure was a relaxing evening in the small pool located on the roof of the building. All recommendations!"

"The host family was exceptionally warm, friendly, and helpful. A delicious homemade breakfast of traditional Cretan foods was served each morning for only 7 euros. The rooms and building were beautiful and very nicely decorated. Located near hiking trails and in a small town where walking was enjoyable. Beautiful mountain scenery from the hotel and town. A very nice restaurant (Vegera) and crêperie nearby, as well as bakeries, grocery stores, etc."

"The only issue with the property was there were a couple of roosters in the neighborhood near the hotel that crowed from 4:00 in the morning until sunset."

"Quiet hotel, nice and helpful staff, tasty breakfast, close to the beach, perfect for families. If you have a car, the hotel has good position to start you trips to western Krete. There is a sandy beach which is used by turtles to lay eggs. During august you may be lucky to see the young ones to hatch from the eggs. We have seen one. :-)"

"The hotel staff is incredibly kind and always ready to help. The facilities are fantastic — clean, well maintained, and very family-oriented. They even cooked fresh food for our baby every day and delivered it right on time with a smile! The food is excellent, and there’s a great variety of activities for both kids and adults. Having a supermarket inside the hotel is super convenient for last-minute needs like sunscreen or diapers. There’s also a car rental service and several tour operators on-site offering nice excursion packages. We loved the thoughtful touches, like the welcome basket with wine and fruits and the olive oil farewell gift. The bus to Chania stops right in front of the hotel, and the little train excursion to the lake is a perfect morning activity. The hotel app is also very useful — it has all the information you need for your stay."

Μας πήρε τηλ να μας καθοδηγήσει,έφερνε ξύλα για το τζάκι κάθε απόγευμα,ευγενικότατη,τα είχε ολα στην εντέλεια,πρωινό με φρυγανιές,καφέ,τσαι,μελι,και καλοσώρισμα.Ακόμα κ όταν ζητσαμε κάτι που είχαμε ξεχάσει να κραταμε μαζί μας (Ένα καλώδιο σύνδεσης ) Προσφέρθηκε άμεσα και μας βρήκε,και ειδικά εορταστικές μέρες που όλα ήταν κλειστά στην πόλη."

"Very nice modern apartment with all the amenities including air conditioning and washing machine, which was very helpful. It is located in about 100 meters from the beach in a small town of Vonitsa. It is not far from Lefkada, about 20 minutes by car. The host is very nice and even left some snacks for our breakfast on the first day. The bakery is next door, which is also very helpful."
