"Location is very good, close to Gulistan bus station, your gateway to other destinations in Bangladesh and attractions in Old Dhaka. Staff very friendly, on the last day we even could leave our backpacks for the afternoon at the reception, since our boat left in the evening. They provided bottled water, shampoo, soap, towels even a comb. Hot water, clean and safe. You will get a magnetic card to enter the 1st floor corridor, where the rooms are, so only guests of the hotel can enter there. Quiet rooms, the noise of the street will not bother you. Free Wi-Fi working perfect in the room."

"This is my 4th or 5th stay at the Golden Tulip as it has become my favorite hotel in Dhaka. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the buffet food is quite good. Most of all the people are friendly and welcoming, starting at the front desk, but carrying over especially do the dining room staff. At breakfast, you can ask the staff to bring you an espresso drink from the coffee shop on the ground floor, which they happily do. Well-run hotel!"
