They took me into town and to the airport, and constantly checked in to see if I needed anything. The views are stunning, and the facilities are more than enough. It was a little dark and chill when we were there

"Very friendly, professional and personal service. Room and facilities were very clean and well maintained. Garden and surroundings are kept neat and clean daily. Ideally located to visit tourist attractions within reasonable radius. Piggs Peak town 1km away and provides all necessary shops, fuel stations and off course a KFC."

"Location was perfect and the house was super clean and comfortable for our family of 5. The owners were awesome and even brought us fresh picked fruit. The view from the front room with its oversized sliding door is spectacular. This picture was taken right out the front door."

"Generally clean environment. Inside the room, there was A/C and a very good large shower. Common spaces included a sort of balcony with a drying rack."

The fridge was located in the common corridor (it had separate shelves assigned to the different rooms). There were lots of mosquitoes, but A/C made it manageable.

"It is really decent. Not the best, but very sufficient for me. For 50$, I definitely got more than I expected. Free internet and electricity and kitchen and washing machine."

Not too clean (still very acceptable and I would return). Single bed (would loved to have 2 separate beds). Air conditioner is fairly weak.

"Julian was a magnificent host. He helped me arrange an excellent taxi driver who got me to the airport safely and quickly for less money than I was expecting. I got mugged (at 11 am) in Georgetown, so be mindful that it isn't the safest place. Don't travel with lots of valuables on you. I was able to fight off my attackers, so I kept the money and phone I was carrying. Anyway, Julian was a great place to stay."

"I returned here after traveling around Gabon for six weeks. The staff here are so welcoming and the setting is tranquil — and with great air conditioning. I feel very lucky that they had a vacancy at the beginning and the end of my trip to Gabon! Merci beaucoup!!"

Mom was amazing and made me food and the sons were great who made my night and were an extra ice in the cake to chat with. Bighest place i have been with very comfy bed and amazing shower. The host was amazing and made sure she cattered to our needs promptly. Will def come back here again."

"The owner were really kind. The landscape around the house is great. Good start for hiking. They offer transportation to/from the village of Mavrovi Anovi. They can cook for you if you ask in advance."

A little bit cold even in summer but they provide big blankets. The hot water is not always working. The owners don't speak English but their grand daughter does so you can call her to translate. There is no wifi but it's a good digital detox.

"Patricia met us when we arrived and gave us the lowdown on how to enter our room and gave us some suggestions for places to eat, which were delicious! The room was cozy and nicer than I had imagined since it was in the basement. All in all, I would recommend this room to friends."

There was nothing we didn't like. If it had been raining, we might have a different opinion!

missing toilet paper :). We had to turn off the fridge for it was too noisy during the night

"I really liked the staff, always ready and willing to help, replying to messages very fast at any time, and truly considering options that could help with any problem you might have. The room had everything you need (mini fridge, closet, drawers). Bed was comfy and location was pretty convenient. Very happy with my stay!"

These are just details, but I believe the lock for the window was broken, and there was no toilet paper right at the moment of check-in, but it makes sense as they're still transitioning into the new batch of guests at that time. There were a few flies on the floor, maybe they could be sweeped more often? Other than that, the place is great value!

I had difficulty locating the guesthouse. I suggest you have a signpost at the entrance of the Junction.

"Great location 3 minutes walk from the main square, a beautiful cave room and a hotel with a character. Stunning views from the restaurant, very helpful and professional receptionist (Fifi). Breakfast with a wide choice of food."

Wifi was very poor in our room, but it worked well in the hotel restaurant

It is very cold and badly soundproofed, but this is of course normal for an old creole house. It is a bit irritating and might feel uncomfortable that the guardian sleeps on the veranda (we were later told that he just fell asleep there accidentally, which was certainly not the case), but don't be afraid of him.
