"We loved our stay at Galapagos Cottages. Lovely place to stay. Just an easy 10 minute walk to the heart of Puerto Ayora, yet nice and quiet, great for relaxation. Our host was fantastic, very helpful. The kitchen was stocked with eggs, bread, milk, coffee, ham, cheese, beer and other drinks."

When we arrived, the pool was out of order, but this was very quickly fixed by the following morning.

"This was a great house with all the facilities we needed for a 5 night stay. We were a group of 9 which is probably the maximum this house can take, the sofa bed wasn’t the most comfortable but was fine for our shorter trip. Everything worked really well and the hotel this villa is connected to had great facilities like a sauna and hottib which were free to use. The host was great, the location for this villa is slightly incorrect on this site as it was a bit further out than we expected but the host was helpful in getting us transport everymoring to the ski centers."

While not the fault of the house, the Unexpected Electricity outages were inconvenient. Long terms measures could include a back up generator or battery storage. Would also be good to have toilet papers in the toilets, not everyone is a big fan of using water. I had to purchase my own toilet papers. Hot water didn't seem to work.

"Boendet ligger i Regent som ligger lite högre upp i bergen jämfört med Freetown. Det gör att det är lite svalare och inte så tryckande värme som nere i stan. Det är visserligen en bit att köra om man ska in i centrum, men samtidigt är det inte så mycket bilköer som inne i stan. Värdarna tog hand om oss på ett bra sätt och huset vi hyrde hade rätt bra standard. Hög standard för att vara i Sierra Leone."

Jag har inte något som jag inte tyckte om. Möjligen att du måste ha tillgång till egen transport om du enkelt ska ta dig till och från boendet.

Once we started cooking, ants came and took over the kitchen 😅 maybe it’s a problem that the while area suffer from. Still recommend this place.

"We were right in the heart of San Pedro. Wonderful food just a few foot steps away Chefy responded immediately to any request we had. Really appreciated the five gallon filtered water dispenser and was refilled as needed. Everyone was so friendly and helpful"

"Great accommodations for my solo travels on this trip- the location is convenient with quick access to a convenient store, grocery store, museum, beach, and main road. It was nice to stay close, but far enough away from Papeete, to not deal with the traffic as much. The courtyard has beautiful plants, cute chickens, and welcoming staff & vibe. Room is comfortable with A/C and fan, too."

Just a small suggestion, not a biggie- just wish they had complimentary coffee in the morning!

"Nice place, very natural and a lot of space for children to play. Cozy houses, well heated, that was really good. Quite territory, many parking lots."

Just be aware that 2-floors houses have very steep stairs, may be a problem for families with small children.

Hot water can run out if used too much

Would've been helpful to know about the hot tub maintenance guy popping in - they accidentally scared one of my friends.

Coming back to open windows after cleaning. No screens means more chance of creepy crawlies getting in.

"We had a very spacious appartment. The location is amazing you can walk everywhere and start cross country skiing right at the appartment. For us it was a very nice stay and we would come again!"

Overall the appartment came into the years a little bit. Some lights were not working so well for example, the sauna was hard to get very hot and the fan in the bathroom did not work. We did not mind very much but maybe there should be some maintenance works done in the nearer future.

"Our stay at John and Angela’s villa was more than perfect! We were welcomed by John who explained to us everything about the house, there was basic food in the kitchen (bread, cheese, milk, wine and more). The villa is super clean and very well equipped. The bedroom at the antique part of the villa was very romantic and the other bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. But the best part is definitely the beautiful garden that even at the end of a very hot summer was blooming and full of magic. The swimming pool was also welcoming and good sized. This corner of Cyprus is the most beautiful in the island - the sea is cristal clear and the Akamas national park and peninsula are not to be missed. We’re already planning our next vacation here!"

"The owner was very friendly and bi-lingual, which was a plus. She prepared us a delicious dinner and breakfast (charged separately from the room rate). The views of Antananarivo from the property are spectacular. Worth the effort to get up to this place if you can!"
