"The place was absolutely perfect and the location was literally on the beach. Couldn't ask for a nicer experience with my family 10/10"

Only thing was 4 people stayed and we seemed to run out of towels quickly.

"Landhof Pau is located in a quiet village in the rolling forested hills outside of Wiesbaden. We enjoyed the spacious rooms, charming interiors, and top-quality kitchen. The gracious owners fixed a delicious breakfast for us and our friends, also staying on the property. The price was excellent, allowing us to stay four nights. We will definitely return—a peaceful, memorable stay!"

"The rooms were spacious booked a family room had one double and one single. Was on ground floor first room as you enter building. The a/c was nice and cool it was on a fixed temp as no remote. TV was good with reception. Outside plenty of shops and restaurants. Dera and Gourmet and supermarket/bakery, fast food and other shops along the way. Rickshaws always available across the road. The big malls like ammana mall just a few minutes ride."

The only problem was that the toilet was the flat hole in ground the other rooms upstairs had the siting version but they were double rooms staff said we could change rooms and they will give us extra mattress but we liked the location of first room others had to go past reception.

The cleanliness of the apartment itself was so bad. The sheets weren’t clean, the pillows didn’t have covers, the kitchen top was filled with spilled oil, the couch was half broken, there were mosquitoes everywhere and generally the entire place was very difficult to find comfy

"Location: it is in a majestic place, with private (yet small) lagoon. The staff were wonderful. The accommodation was reasonably priced. Easy to find."

Location: far away from major attractions, bad road on the route. No shops around. Credit card payment wasn’t working at the time of checkout. Food and drinks are extremely expensive and too simple (no realistic alternatives since it is in the middle of nowhere; bottle of water 3.5 times more expensive then in the town and 1.75 times more expensive than in the airport). No a/c. No windows in the room. Quite rustic. Hordes of mosquitoes. Very strict check out time at 10:00am.

"Good location near the river and within walking to most locations we wanted to see, but it did take a walk of about 20 minutes to key sites and food halls (which we did not mind at all). The building was nice and check in went smoothly. There were nearby markets so getting breakfast foods and keeping them in the kitchen was easy. It had a clothes washing machine in the unit, which was convenient."

The room furniture was just OK. It wasn't overly comfortable in the shared space of our two-bedroom apartment. The connection of the kitchen to the rest of the apartment was strange. The kitchen was not sealed off from the outside and had a lockable door between it and the rest of the apartment that we needed to keep locked to keep it closed so the AC didn't leak out.

"Our second stay at Mer can story. Fabulous location. Nice spacious rooms, small kitchen area so we could prepare breakfast and eat on our balcony. The staff are kind and helpful. During local power cut this property had a generator. We will choose this hotel again"

"The loft was nice. I wish there were vacuums on the island, but I understand they re rare there. The beach there wasn't accessible, which I wasn't aware of when I booked. Apparently you can visit the beach at Marriott, but I wasn't aware of that. The over all, home stay loft was great for my family. I'd stay again, if I ever visit again."

"The apartment is amazing. It has everything and it's in perfect shape. It's about 7 minutes walk to the lake. A lot of free parking. Anna who welcomed us was very kind and helpful."

It would be nice if it could be added a washing machine.

"Clean and safe stay! I didn’t ever feel uncomfortable walking to my destinations. Staff were amazing and the recommended drive was impeccable. Nothing fancy but all needed amenities existed, everything was clean and comfortable, great for 1, would be great for two….. anymore would be a lot! The host was responsive and accommodated all my questions and needs. Will 100% be back!! Thanks for the great trip!"

"Beautiful view and great access to the beach. The apartment is on the middle floor of 3. Therefore, 2nd floor end unit. All the amenities you need to cook any type of meal."

The parking situation isn’t ideal as they closed the lot without warning to add more dirt so had to park further down the street. I don’t mind walking so it wasn’t a problem for me but if you have mobility issues this isn’t the best place for you as there are a lot of hills and some stairs. You can however get around without using the stairs just a bit further.

"We had a wonderful stay at Almost Paradise. The host was very friendly and generous with her time, sharing stories about the island and making us feel very welcome. The room was spacious and comfortable with a great view. Bonus points for the friendly cat"

"The best thing of this apartment is the proximity to the beach. It has all the commodities you might need for 2 people, you can even cook there."

The room was rather small and it's confusing how you need to take out the garbage, The bins do not work without a card, the owner didn't explain how to do it. I stayed there with my husband and there were 2 separate mattresses put together, and that was a bit uncomfortable. The owners could also add some beach equipment for their guests, like a chair, towels or something for the wind, since it can get really windy there.

Not a dislike but lack of a fridge and safe. Especially a safe would be helpful in the room. It was also strange to not have a blanket/duvet ready on the bed. Upon request, a blanket was brought.

"Great location, great value, nice communal space, had good parking, lovely views, friendly host…bed was a bit small for a couple but it was still a nice room."

"Overall, a really nice stay and a good value for the location. Being connected to the hostel next door was surprisingly convenient. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and luggage storage was easy. The room felt more like a small apartment than a hotel room. Plenty of space, and both the bed and couch were very comfortable. The staff was also incredibly friendly."

The in-room amenities were a bit sparse compared to what I expected. The WiFi was honestly very poor, which is a drawback for a place that markets itself to a coworking crowd. Also, I was charged 50% to add an extra guest despite it being a full apartment. I paid it without issue, but if I’d booked for two guests from the start, the price difference would have been negligible, if anything, so that policy felt a little off.

"Great option if you want to stay a little outside of the main hub - it's quiet and the location is beautiful, but I highly recommend having a car to get around. The room was spacious and it was nice to have access to the kitchen and common area. The bathroom is shared but it was never an issue. The sauna was in a separate building but so nice at the end of a day. The breakfast is served at the main cafe in town - it's plentiful and tasty, just keep in mind that you either need to drive there or arrange the shuttle."

Would be be nice to have extra towels for the sauna.
