"The character of the building and contents! We loved that the rooms had a historical element to them and that the owner went to a lot of effort to preserve pieces of local history. The rooms were clean which is always appreciated."
"The washroom shower and floor could use an update."
"This historic building was amazing. We had the Judge’s Suite, which was originally a ground floor parlor in this historic home. The original floors and woodwork were great and the suite was eclectically and thoughtfully furnished, even down to the teapot. Loved it."

"The location is ideal for visiting the waterfront. The arrival instructions are easy to follow."
"The price versus the room we had. We've been here many times and the room we usually book was taken. So I went for the Studio not their best offer it's a basement room it's small and needs work. Don't get me wrong we love the place and just won't be booking this room again. Sad to see the place is up for sale hopefully whoever purchases it keeps it open."
"The location is exceptional! Right next to the Brockville railway tunnel. Great parking too. The check in was seamless and the property is cute and quirky. We loved the garden suite."

"Historical, location, ease of checking in, nicely decorated and the small things like coffee and cream in the fridge etc. those small things make a big difference in first impressions"
"You could say some restoration to enhance the the era but otherwise nothing"
"Location is fabulous and the decor made is feel like loyalty . Easy self check in and out. Dogs are welcome but just know you cannot leave your dog alone while you go out. There are a few restaurants within walking distance for outdoor dining with your pet."
"Not being able to leave dog unattended"
"Location to downtown. The suite was roomy and very clean."

"The location is great being so close to the waterfront !"
"We stayed in the corner suite on the ground floor and the traffic noise can be quite loud! Also the windows in that suite need some repairs!"

"The location of the property is excellent for viewing the Aurora Borealis as it is located on the shore of Great Slave Lake which provides ample open space when the lake is frozen in the winter for a great viewing experience. The accommodations were comfortable and clean and well heated, a plus for a winter visit like ours.. Ben, the substitute on-site manager was extremely helpful during our stay. Yellowknife is a wonderful small town to visit and enjoy during the winter"
