Campgrounds in Albania

"Loved staying in the simple, clean bungalow overlooking the sea, surrounded by bougainvillea and various friendly creatures (iguanas, salamanders, birds, etc.). Coral was SO incredibly responsive and helpful with everything from how to book a special dinner at Heidi's restaurant (incredible view and food!) to giving us a ride out to explore the cool fort. Thanks for a beautiful stay!"

It was really fun meeting people from all over the US in the communal kitchen. But as is to be expected, sound carries at any campground and not everyone is on the same sleep schedule, so bring earplugs!

Coming from Nakuru, the Google pin got us quite lost! Fortunately, we were able to figure the route out.

The shower exhaust fan was weak, so after a hot shower there will be water condensation everywhere in the bathroom.

The bed in my cabin could've been more comfortable. Not too bad though.

"Location was close enough to downtown Lisbon (we had a car, which I recomment for this place) and yet with a nice forest ambiance - so you're in the woods but close to everything. The bungalow size and layout were sufficient and infrastructure worked."

Some finishings and surfaces are getting a bit deteriorated but still looking fine. There were a few insects that could get into my bedroom on the last night.

Fans are not part of the facilities though in the hot nights we had these days, you do need one to sleep properly. I was lucky to get one from Enote, this was not the case for everyone

The place is convenient to every type of visitors.

"We made use of the campsite. The food was amazing and we were very happy to make use of the outdoor shower and having our hiking clothes washed. Back on the trail feeling refreshed! The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. Would definitely recommend this place!"

The single tent is convienice for me too.I met with local ranger and his wife. They both are so friendly. They told the story of that area and it was expereince I never had before. It was fun thank you the organizer for this great stay."

"- location is 100% perfect - everything was extremely clean - sleeping in the tent was really cozy and with a good temperature during the night (tough at the day time it’s super hot) - staff was kind but not willing to organize a sandbuggy tour, although we asked him. He just gave us a flyer of some company"

- pool was not clean - there is no shower before going to the pool so it’s full with sand and sunprotection cream - breakfast really bad. I could have a look into the kitchen and it was not clean

"Okay place a little distance from the village. Very few guests when I was there so restaurant had no food to offer. Staff was nice thoughand tried to help as much they could."

"Nice hut with plenty of amenities (tea/toaster/fridge/A/C) Would recommend the first (closet to road) or third (back) if you plan to use jacuzzi. There is a boat lunch to look over lake less than 5 minutes walk. Staff was communicative and breakfast was excellent. Watched our best sunset of Paraguay over the lake."

A bit remote. Obviously your own car useful. The huts are set back from the water and other than boat launch, we didn’t see any common access. Water has green algae on the lake (in February), so not swimming water. There are handful of restaurants on main road I believe, but slow 5-10 minutes walk drive.

"Coming here feels like an escape from the chaos of life. You get a luxurious camp experience with the backdrop of what can only be described as a painting. This is now my second time staying in a dome, which is extremely clean, comfortable, and private. Eating a 5 star dinner, prepared by a clearly experienced chef is followed by a woodfired hottub at sunset. There are various hiking trails to check out in the day time, or go for a ride on the off-road buggies! Ten out of ten, highly recommend. It's now my favorite mountain escape in Montenegro, absolutely must experience!"
