"It was like a fairytale. I wish I never left! I had the cute single blue room. Everything is about a 5 minute walk, even the train station. The breakfast was amazing too! Oh and the bed was like a cloud! Such a comfy cozy stay. I wish I was there longer!"

"Great location in Appenzell - walking distance to the train station, restaurants, shops, and the grocery store. The staff was extremely helpful with local transportation information and just making my stay enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious."

"Breakfast was perfectly what we needed good food. Beds were comfy. Staff was very nice and go above and beyond to help their guests. They even mailed a package for us when we forgot something of importance! Very nice all around."
"The only thing that could have made for a better stay - there is no AC (which this is standard for Switzerland) if you are traveling when the weather is hot you have to keep windows open and can be a little tricky if you are a light sleeper."
