The new Welschen Establishment, opening in March 2025, is situated on a south-facing slope. There is a fantastic outlook of the Matterhorn from most areas of the place to vacation. The property is just a 2-minute walk from the Sunnegga Express station. The main train station and the village center are a 7-minute walk away. Breakfast Formula is included in the room rate. The aquatic relaxation zone and wellness area as well as the fitness room are open to guests.

"Our ski holiday in Zermatt staying at the Welschen was exceptional! The family management and staff were so warm and welcoming that you instantly felt at home and looked after. The chalet itself is beautifully appointed with amazing facilities & amenities, the stand-out being the pool with stellar lighting and views of the Zermatt landscape. Our rooms were to die for with ground to floor windows, beautiful moss green & wood interiors, and pampering bathrooms. Mornings in the dinning area for breakfast was the best ever with stunning views of the Matterhorn Mountain to get you pumped to ski for the day. The real treat was the easy skip and jump to the Sunnegga Funicular and the closeness of everything in the town. Zermatt was truly a beautiful place to experience, made all the better by our stay at the Welschen. Thank you so much! ❤️"

"This hotel is a perfect choice for a vacation. The room was spotless, spacious, and equipped with brand‑new facilities, and we had a direct view of the Matterhorn right from the window. Breakfast was also very satisfying with plenty of options. The public areas of the hotel are beautifully designed and great for photos and social media. "Everything. The property is newly built / renovated and is very thoughtfully constructed. The attention to detail, the design and the artwork in the room, all very modern and despite that, have maintained the culture of the location. The breakfast is very good and the amenities are excellent. And additionally, the service of the hotel is exceptional. One of the best services i have experienced in my years of traveling.
