Positive point:

"Wow, what wonderful experience. Cerkno is a little off the beaten track, which is exactly what we wanted. The accommodation was homely, clean and Slovenian. This farm stay filled our tanks - amazing hosts, beautiful surroundings and the most amazing breakfasts and dinners. If you choose to stay here, we would highly recommend the evening dinners - they were truely amazing."

Negative point:

"It's great that they offer an electric car charging station! We had some difficulty getting it to work, but we were able to find another way to charge our vehicle."

"Extraordinary location with stunning mountain views and wonderful hosts. Pet friendly. With a car, it is easy to explore the whole region around Cerkno and beyond, to Idrija or even Bohinj and Bled. The farm is excellent for kids - lots of animals: horses, cows, llamas, goats, sheep, donkeys (they offer a tour), a trampoline, a swing, and more. And a wonderful German Shepherd/Bernese mix called Rubi; she was a star."

Negative point:

"The internet connection left a lot to be desired for those moments we returned to the apartment (however, it is to be expected in a relatively remote mountain location)."

"Remote place with very nice view surrounded by animals (cat, dog, chickens, cows). The hosts are really nice and offered us home made limoncello when we arrived and home made jagermaster when we left. Wifi is good and the playground for the kids is a plus!"

Positive point:

"Excellent place. It's a hidden gem in the nature around 1000 meter high. We spent our calm winter retreat here. The bedrooms on the upper level, 2 rooms with single beds, 2 other rooms with double beds (1 is a bit smaller). It's ok for 4-6 people. We had some kind of self check-in. The tourist tax is payable separately. The owner was kind and took care of the heating system. The kitchen is well equipped and in the same space as the living room is."
