"Great location, a nice little property and we liked the small pool area for relaxing. The room was clean, cool, comfortable and pleasant."

"Should add some signs to tell people it’s ok to use the coffee machine, and other small appliances in the outdoor common area. It would be good to have someone onsite for a couple hours each day (there is a small office but no one was ever in). They do respond to messages in the app but service can be a bit slow (e.g. getting new towels, etc). Some face to face time would be more welcoming, at least once during the stay. Yes, it’s walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the beach but warning it is via a rough dirt road and there’s no sidewalk. We did enjoy our stay overall."

"I enjoyed the room which was clean and comfortable. There are some nice restaurants nearby and the beach is a short walk away. The hotel is away from the very busy road which keeps it quiet at night. Self check in was helpful too."

"I generally had a tough time adjusting to Tamarindo, compared to other places I had visited in Costa Rica. I interacted with the staff primarily via WhatsApp and while everything I asked about was answered, it felt a bit impersonal. Regardless, I do recommend a stay here when in Tamarindo."

"I really enjoyed this small boutique hotel. Its close enough to the main strip to be able to easily walk to restaurants and shops, but far enough away that you don't get the noise. Its fairly secluded, and as a female solo traveler I always felt safe. I stayed in a suite, which I felt was reasonably priced for the time of year I went (September). The ladies I had interaction with (I think one was named Erica?) were absolutely the loveliest, most welcoming people, and were extremely helpful when I asked for recommendations for restaurants."

"I stayed in a suite (#6) to have some extra space-The living room had bean bag chairs that were uncomfortable-I would have preferred to have a sofa in there. The lighting was a bit dim, especially in the bathroom-it would have been nice to have more light. There was a small fridge that was very handy for snacks, water, and fruit, but it would have been nice to have a small microwave and maybe some utensils for those days when you didn't feel like eating out."

"Great staff, excellent breakfast each day! Pool is very refreshing after a hot day at the beach. The hotel is out of the main Tamarindo action which makes it peaceful and quiet at night. It's still just a short walk to be anywhere though. Lovely!"
