"This was a very friendly guesthouse where we enjoyed three nights! We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived and the hosts were very helpful in helping us find rides to begin our treks on the island / get back to Porto Novo. Breakfast was filling and kept us energized when hiking."

"Super nice hosts. Breakfast was at the top and flexible between 7 and 9 with an omelet and plenty of cold fixings to fill one up. Arranged a shared taxi for my return trip to the airport that picked me up at the guesthouse. The room was large and fairly comfortable with nice hot water in the shower."

"We liked Nova Sintra. It is very charming particularly the central place. We liked the path to Fuja da Agua, a very beautiful and particular hike for many reasons. The Guesthouse itself was good and Eurico is nice and helpful. The breakfast is copious."
