"Nice hotel. Pool on the top floor and breakfast is served around that pool. The breakfast has many options and we enjoyed it a lot. A standard room is given on the 1st or 2nd floor which gives a view on the ground floor pool only. The rooms are larger than average. For a sea view you need to pay extra to be on the 3rd floor or up. We rented a car for a day from the rental car office next door which was very convenient and priced correctly. The location of the hotel is great."

"We were here twice and each time didn't get our room before 3pm. Second time there were still a lot of hairs in the bathroom from the previous occupant. I mentioned it at the reception but they didn't suggest any action to correct it."

"A very pleasant hotel run by Cape Verdeans, which is definitely a plus. The cleanliness around the pool area could be slightly improved. Breakfast was very good, although if you go towards the end of the service, some items may be missing. Location is great: 2 minutes walk to the ferry terminal and 6 minutes to the city center. We had an issue at the pool: the water suction vent pulled in my friend’s leg while she was naturally leaning against the edge enjoying the view, and she ended up with a large bruise. Another woman in the pool at the same time experienced the same problem, as it’s an area where anyone might rest during a swim. A warning sign or a repair is needed to avoid further accidents. Also, the hotel forgot to send the airport transfer to pick us up as arranged, but fortunately, the taxi was easy to find and inexpensive"
