"Great hotel, just 20 minutes by car from Serra Malagueta. The building is fun and unique, built on several levels. The rooms are huge, the hot water is amazing, and the views from the windows are beautiful. Everything was very clean. The breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were so so nice!! The owner was super helpful and even made me honey and lemon drinks a few times because I had a sore throat—so kind 😊 I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it!"

"The hotel is pretty new (about 2 years old), modern and well designed. It was designed by Hamilton, the owner, who worked 19 years in France. Therefore he can speak french, which can be useful if you do not speak Portuguese or English. Hamilton is really nice and very helpful. He picked us up at Praia ship port, the way to Assomada, is about 40 mn. He also accepted that we keep a room later on the last day as our flight was late. One of his employee drove us to the airport (at a correct price). The hotel has a swimming pool ( cleaned daily), Wifi in the lounge (soon repeaters will be installed), electricity is by solar panels. The restaurant is really good! The rooms are huge, modern with all comfort. Showers with hot water and good pressure! Moreover, the biggest tree of Cabo Verde is at 10 mn by walking ( you see it from the terraces) and City center is only at 15 mn by walking. The staff is also very nice, the cleaning women do not stop! It is very family friendly."

"The bed was quite small and uncomfortable. My boyfriends feet were sticking out. But we slept okay. I expected more of the city of Assomada. We ended up driving to other places and eating in the hotel during our stay."

"Nice rooms with stunning views to the surrounding mountains. Very helpful and friendly staff. I can highly recommend the hotel for a stay in Assomada if you don't mind staying in the outskirts of the town. Close to the Kapok tree."
