"The property is clean, cozy and had everything we needed. Shower was hot, air conditioning was cold and the beds were quite comfortable. The owner was very gracious and helpful. The hammocks were a great way to lull away the heat of the day."

"The hosts were exceptional, providing fresh fruit upon arrival & at several other times during my 4-day stay. They also were helpful in providing information about local regulations & where permitted to visit without a guide."

"Dilcio, Esuardo & their children were a delight as hosts. Dilcio would bring us pineapple, corn or oranges from her family’s farm high in the hills. The room is charming. All elaborate wood. There’s a balcony with a view of the ocean & a front porch with hammocks. Floreana is very controlled (which I approve ) so there are not a lot of options for exploring. One day we rented “island” bikes, took the shuttle up the hill, toured the tortoise station & Wittmer caves with Dilcio as a guide, & biked down with her son as a guide. The room has good wifi & adequate hot water. However no meals are included. Reservations must be made for meals by Dilcio at a local restaurant & you eat what’s served. Everything in Floreana is more expensive than Santa Cruz, nut still the room price seemed a bit high"
"Felt the room price was a bit high"
"This place is just so cozy! The rooms are spotless and well-designed, and the owners are both super kind and hospitable -- I was greeted with fresh pineapple from the island, and they let me stay past check-out until the ferry came, which allowed me to have the most beautiful morning on the beach. The swing out front was also nice when I wanted to catch a bit of the breeze. All in all, wonderful!"
"It was perfect!"
"Great room, comfortable bed, and they even gave us umbrellas for the rain."

"A lovely family run, low key, laid back property. Quick to respond to questions online. Best room is the twin with the double hammocks on the first floor, you get a nice breeze going through and the hammocks are a bonus if there is a torrential downpour. Ground floor can be noisy as wooden floors. Newly built bar next door."
"No hot water. Have to order breakfast in advance if you want it - same across the island, make sure you order breakfast, lunch or dinner in advance due to various shortages."
"The staff came to greet us at the port, ready to help with our bags and to show us the way to El Pajas. It was great for us that Karen spoke English as it definitely made things easier. The room we stayed in was massive. It was also really lovely that the staff gave us some watermelon to enjoy when Santos from CECFLOR (the official Isabela Tourist contact) came over to meet us (having been instrumental in getting us ferry times and info prior to arrival) - Karen can provide you with Santos's contact details."

"Karen, our quest house host met us at the ferry docks upon arrival. She proceeded to give us a small tour of town and showed us the quest house location. That was really appreciated given there is no cell service on the island. The accommodation was clean and with air conditioning. The hosts were always helpful!"
