"This was a very laid back spot that was both convenient for visiting the nature all around (the lagoon cruise is a short walk away, as is the village) as well as for crossing the river into the town. (Come prepared with a few 50c coins if you don't want to pay $1 each time to cross the river, they somehow never have change). The food was delicious, and I enjoyed having a large, cold beer on their balcony in the evenings, as well as swimming during the day. The room was spotless, large, and very comfortable, and I could have comfortably spent much longer than the 2 nights I visited. Also the mobile internet connection was amazingly fast for this area (over 100M/sec) so I could have worked from here had I anticipated it would be faster than in most Ecuadoran cities."
"The owner proposed some very expensive trips ($20 to visit the lagoon, which is a $5 boat tour if you walk yourself to the entry about 2km down the road) so I was disappointed I couldn't organise anything at the hotel for further away than where I could walk to. But the other employees were very open and friendly, and even proposed joining them at the night club!"

"Le cadre est super et original... Martina et Juan Calos sont adorables. Ils nous ont aiguillés vers des visites que nous n'avions pas programmées et que nous n'aurions peut-être jamais faites... Vraiment un couple super avec leurs deux petits garçons plein de vie..."

"El cuarto y el baño estaban súper grandes, la familia muy linda y acogedora. Vista hermosa hacia el río. El último día se fue el agua en esa área y la familia nos ayudó a que no nos faltara. Hay un mosquitero para la cama que ayuda mucho con los moscos. Buena privacidad en el cuarto. Por 50 centavos cruzas el río en lancha para estar en 3 minutos ya en el centro de Puerto."
"Las ventanas y cortinas del cuarto no cerraban bien entonces a veces e traban más moscos y la luz del día desde temprano."
