"The Staff was amazing, from volunteers like Luciano to Kevin (who does the free-walking tour) to the owners as well. The pizza is tasty. The location is nearby cheap eats (try the restaurant desayuno y almuerzo for a true ecuadorian experience) or also pizzeria boschetti (entertaining cook and good pizza), live music/brewery (la oficina), the cathedral, and outings can be organized (would recommend the secret garden cotopaxi or going to Cuyabeno, in the amazon). Really nice view. Enjoy."

"The roof stop has a panoramic view of the whole city. There you will hang out with other travellers, enjoy a meal and have a few drinks. The owner will help and advice you with tours and recommendations for your travels. They offer a free walking tour during your stay and a free cocktail ;) The private room was huge. One of the few hostels where you will appreciate a hot showers."

"There was a lot of noise from the street that could be heard early in the morning. Also, most shops and restaurants that are around the hostel close pretty early."

"Nice rooftop with views. Room was large and shower was hot. You have to open the water fully first to get it hot, then adjust. Good security with locked door at night for security. Decent breakfast. Maybe 10 minutes walk to the historic city center where during the day it's active. Only 5 minutes walk to the mercado central."

"Be smart and use Uber/Indrive/taxis to get around at night. The place should also create a booklet with tips and suggestions on what to do, where to eat, and ho we to get around for their guests. This would be very helpful."

"The staff were always so welcoming, we actually ended up staying here on three different occasions! It was nice and relaxing, quiet at night time so we had amazing sleeps here. Very grateful for being able to store our luggage!"

"We were delayed for 24 hours meaning we only had 14 hours in Quito, when this was explained to the staff they took us out for the evening to show us the local highlights! Rooms were huge and very comfortable."

"Our ”deluxe double room with balcony” was huge! After staying in some tiny rooms in Colombia, it was a luxury to have such space. Manager. The manager was great. We initially booked two nights knowing we’d arrive late from Colombia and not wanting to have to check out the next day. We actually considered moving round the corner to another, very well known, hostel since there didn’t seem to be anybody else staying. However, after chatting to the manager for about an hour when we went to pay, we decided to stay for the next three nights before our Galápagos trip. He told us more about the political situation and how it had impacted bookings. Breakfast. Decent breakfast with tea, fruit juice, eggs and bread. Location. Great location less than a 10-minute walk to the main plaza. Nearest supermarket is around a five-minute walk away."

"The property could do with a refurbishment, but it sounds as though the manager has plenty of ideas for the place."
