Villa River Rose

"I booked my stay only 45 minutes before arriving and I was the only guest that night. The people managing the place were hoping for a quiet evening and had made other plans already. But they changed everything, made me dinner and breakfast and were very very nice to me! Fantastic stay, highly recommended. It's very homely and really, the people are awesome! Food was freshly picked from their garden and tasted great as well."

"Anna and her husband are delightful people and wonderful hosts. They provide ample and tasty breakfasts, and we paid extra for dinners since we didn’t want to worry about finding restaurants in nearby towns. Food was excellent with vegetables from their garden."

"Anna and her husband were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our included breakfast had a good selection of food, including fresh items from their garden. We opted to have dinner in one evening, and Anna provided a lovely meal. This is an old-school guesthouse in the best possible meaning. Another bonus - the guests there at the time were interesting and pleasant to talk to. If you are looking for somewhere to stay while exploring the nearby national park, Villa River Rose comes recommended. We would definitely stay there again if traveling through."

"Our stay with Anna and her husband was delightful from start to finish. They were incredibly hospitable, offering a warm welcome into their home. The setting was wonderfully tranquil and rustic, Breakfast was a highlight, featuring an assortment of cold cuts and cheeses, hearty porridge, fresh breads and eggs. The charming garden offered a beautiful, serene backdrop along the river. To top it all off, Anna prepared a superb evening meal for us, using some ingredients from her garden, which we thoroughly enjoyed."

"Anna and her husband made us so very welcome in thier home and had good ideas for visiting the areas Location was peaceful and rural just what we wanted Breakfast was good,boiled eggs,,cooked meats,cheeses, porridge,breads,homemade jams and fresh vegetables out of Anna's garden Room was clean The garden was so pretty along the river Anna cooked us an evening meal,which was very good,all fresh ingredients"

"Great location for exploring Soomaa NP. The rooms were spotlessly clean. Anna and her husband were great hosts and had an English language leaflet showing walks in the local area ready for us on arrival. We had a good breakfast there both mornings and a delicious supper one evening. Would also recommend using the sauna with a cooling dip in the river. It’s an extra charge but well worth it if you are travelling as a group."

"We had a really good time in Villa River Rose! Its a cozy, quiet place in a small village. The owners are really helpful and nice, they help you wherever they can. They made this stay exceptional for us. Breakfast and dinner are great, everything homemade, and if possible from their own garden. The sauna is a great experience as well."
