"We loved the warm welcome by Ilona, and our apartment was very comfortable. The whole complex was much to our liking, with lovely outdoor spaces, two nice little pools, and a great room with a palm thatched roof with lots of space. It was close to super lovely Mambo Beach and everything else we wanted to see was easy to get to."

We would have preferred more ceramic or porcelain plates, cups, and bowls in our apartment, as the plastic ones there were not suitable for use in the microwave.

The shower is a bit uncomfortable

"The overall atmosphere, amazing complex of bungalows, really nice owners. The pool and the jacuzzi have been much appreciated after a night camping in the mountains!"

The bathroom is not divided from the bedroom in the bungalows, which makes it inconvenient when sharing a room.

"Location was very tropical and peaceful … nicely tucked away. Tony is an amazing service person and goes above and beyond. He’s very attentive he’s a great resource for things to do as well."

The cleanliness and the condition of furniture need an upgrade! The cabinet needs to be ripped out and replaced, stove and items need a deep clean and shower needs a proper shower head sorta spittled as opposed to showered.

"The location is very nice, basically in the centre, but quiet street. The room was very clean and comfortable. Shared area (showers, kitchen, toilets) were also in a good condition. The personal is nice and responds quickly to messages."

"Lovely, very clean place. Well located just up from the ferry piers. Associated with the Hotel Narsaq, so good breakfast there if part of your rate. And staff there always willing to help with questions, etc. Plenty warm, comfortable beds, big windows, pleasant common area, including nice wood deck with view when weather is favorable. Well equipped kitchen."

Not a problem for me on this stay, but I can see, as others have indicated, two bathrooms could be a problem if house were full, bc shower, sink, toilet are together. One couple monopolized lower level bathroom in the a.m., but I was able to go upstairs.

"The location is good and in close proximity to restaurants, shopping malls and some tourist sites like the twin towers. The building is very secure and in a safe location. Movements are also since everything is in walking distance and access to taxis, buses and trains in easy."

The studio apartment does not have a cleaning service nor a vacuum cleaner provided during the duration of your stay.

"Julian was a magnificent host. He helped me arrange an excellent taxi driver who got me to the airport safely and quickly for less money than I was expecting. I got mugged (at 11 am) in Georgetown, so be mindful that it isn't the safest place. Don't travel with lots of valuables on you. I was able to fight off my attackers, so I kept the money and phone I was carrying. Anyway, Julian was a great place to stay."

"Kathy and Luke (her husband) are incredible people. Very helpful and their guest house is simple but clean and have everything you need: kitchen, fan, hot water, privacy l. I pick these guesthouse because was close to the dive shop and I could walk in the morning to it."

At first night I was given a rather smelly room where I just could not sleep. Next day it was corrected.

"I stopped for a night while traveling to Madinah. From the outside look, I didn't expect the interior to be this beautiful. It was a wonderful experience. Parking is available on the roadside, in front of it. Didn't meet the owner or any staff. However, the chat with the owner was warm and pleasant. The location is really calm and beautiful. Before leaving in the morning, we enjoyed a lovely stroll in the park outside."

The toilet seat was broken. However, the owner apologized and told me he would fix it the next day.

On the second day there was a slight smell in the bathroom but nothing too serious , a little plumbing will sort that out !
