"Summer Lodge is really nice hotel with traditional Greek ornaments. Very clean, very tidy. They have really comfortable beds. Mr Vasilios, Mrs Rebeka and Mrs Athena, our hosts, helped us to find rent a car and with the instructions what to visit on the Crete."

"Although a 30-40 minute bus ride from Chania town, Summer Lodge is a Fantastic place if you want to be away from the busy places. A peaceful and pretty hotel with a Lovely vibe...There are places nearby to get food and drink and the mostly deserted beach is just a few minutes walk away. The bus stops are close by also - So nothing was ever too much effort. The owners of the property were kind, chatty and helpful. And last but not least the two cats at the hotel were a Joy to be around !! If I get the chance to go back to Chania I would definitely stay at this hotel again !9"
"Being near the main road, although handy can be a bit noisy at times but it never bothered me too much. The individual refrigerator in the room was very noisy and I did wake up to it a couple of times."
"We particularly like this type of accommodation. Athena was very nice. We talked a lot and he recommended shops, restaurants and programs. He was always smiling. The room is clean and tidy, the garden is wonderful. Eating breakfast in the summer kitchen was a perfect start to the day."

Every little detail shows how much love the whole team puts into this place. The atmosphere is peaceful, welcoming, and full of charm - the perfect spot to relax and enjoy Crete. "The accommodation makes you feel like home, it kept the traditional greek style. Very close to the buss stations, coffee shops and supermarket,beach and restaurants. Super friendly staff and very helpful in any situation."

"De host was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We konden borden en bestek krijgen, was niet op de kamer. Dicht bij het strand. Wij hadden ochtendzon op het balkon. Er werd om de 2/3 dagen schoongemaakt en schone handdoeken."
