"Although a 30-40 minute bus ride from Chania town, Summer Lodge is a Fantastic place if you want to be away from the busy places. A peaceful and pretty hotel with a Lovely vibe...There are places nearby to get food and drink and the mostly deserted beach is just a few minutes walk away. The bus stops are close by also - So nothing was ever too much effort. The owners of the property were kind, chatty and helpful. And last but not least the two cats at the hotel were a Joy to be around !! If I get the chance to go back to Chania I would definitely stay at this hotel again !9"
"Being near the main road, although handy can be a bit noisy at times but it never bothered me too much. The individual refrigerator in the room was very noisy and I did wake up to it a couple of times."
"We particularly like this type of accommodation. Athena was very nice. We talked a lot and he recommended shops, restaurants and programs. He was always smiling. The room is clean and tidy, the garden is wonderful. Eating breakfast in the summer kitchen was a perfect start to the day."

"De host was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We konden borden en bestek krijgen, was niet op de kamer. Dicht bij het strand. Wij hadden ochtendzon op het balkon. Er werd om de 2/3 dagen schoongemaakt en schone handdoeken."

"Δεν εχω λόγια,σαν να πήγαμε σε κάποιο συγγενή μας,η Μαίρη άψογη σε όλα ! Μας πήρε τηλ να μας καθοδηγήσει,έφερνε ξύλα για το τζάκι κάθε απόγευμα,ευγενικότατη,τα είχε ολα στην εντέλεια,πρωινό με φρυγανιές,καφέ,τσαι,μελι,και καλοσώρισμα.Ακόμα κ όταν ζητσαμε κάτι που είχαμε ξεχάσει να κραταμε μαζί μας (Ένα καλώδιο σύνδεσης ) Προσφέρθηκε άμεσα και μας βρήκε,και ειδικά εορταστικές μέρες που όλα ήταν κλειστά στην πόλη."

"Very nice modern apartment with all the amenities including air conditioning and washing machine, which was very helpful. It is located in about 100 meters from the beach in a small town of Vonitsa. It is not far from Lefkada, about 20 minutes by car. The host is very nice and even left some snacks for our breakfast on the first day. The bakery is next door, which is also very helpful."

The room is very spacious and comfortable, and the balcony is so nice to sit in the morning and at night. The hotel restaurant serves basic food and drinks. But that was more than enough for us. "amazing view over the harbour, the staff were extremely friendly. we have been island hopping for 3 weeks and the owners of this apartment were one of the kindest and most welcoming we have met. they paid for our drinks when we ended up in the same restaurant for lunch one day. our room was cleaned every day compared to the usual once every two days. location is very close to the port but there is a steep hill to walk up. close to a lot of quality restaurants/bus stop and bakery"
