"Very friendly hosts and sorted out my issue close to town and lovely breakfast"

"A very warm welcome and an extremely comfortable room. I slept like a log! Secure parking, particularly important for those of us on motorcycles, was available. Very tasty full English breakfast!"

"Rooms were a little tired but clean with character"
"Nothing really"
"Great location in Ashbourne. Good cooked breakfast."

"Everything, despite being in a small town centre it was very quiet and we slept very well. The beds were really comfortable and it felt very homely and cosy. The hostess is a lovely lady who welcomed us into her home, made us feel very welcome and helped out with places to go to eat or for snack supplies by pointing out all the local amenities. The breakfast was lovely, a nice simple full English, with yogurts, cereals and other bits included. We had a great stay which was only 1 night unfortunately as we would definitely liked to have stayed again if we didn't have things we needed to do. Definitely a place for future reference though."
"Nothing at all really, if I had to be so picky it would be the one step up to get into the bathroom which was hard work after a full day of Alton towers 😂 but no there was absolutely nothing wrong"
"We really enjoyed our stay. Comfy rooms, tasty breakfast and really lovely hosts. We'll definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back in the area."

"Great central location, but quiet and tranquil when we stayed, private car parking, quality full English breakfast, functional electric shower, good value for money as we only stayed one night. We loved the fact it felt like walking in an old people's home, well overheated, fitted with old carpets, old memorabilia everywhere we looked in the shape of royal coronation mugs, figurines, lots of pictures of cats, etc."
"Shame furniture lacked taste, the wardrobe was just a zipup tempory fabric one, bath towels were falling apart after decades of having been washed and rewashed, the place is dated overall and redecorating is well overdue but it somehow didn't bother us and we would stay again if visiting the area."
"It was in a central location with all bars and restaurants in walking distance, the room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, breakfast good and catered for me as a vegan ."

"Super happy to have stayed here! The food, was made with love by man and wife the owners, is really good. Plus, the B and B is in a great spot – close to tons of restaurants and shops, and just a short walk to the Peak District. Very Comfortable. We stayed in master suite. Would definitely return . Parking on site also petrol station opposite and shops . Huge size room . Heating was on for us when we arrived. Cosy. Thank you !"

"Nice rooms decent facilities friendly professional staff"
"Location was excellent, Winston (Attendant) was very welcoming and friendly. We stayed close to Christmas, and there was very little staff, but Winston went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable."
Suraj Alexandra Hotel
"This was a good location for us, we wanted to be near St Andrews, but not in St Andrews. Beautiful views at the golf club, the weather was kind to us and we enjoyed some beautiful sunsets. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and informative about the local area. We explored the bay around St Andrews (Creil and Elie), stunning. We ate in the club restaurant both nights, and had really good food, and very generous portions. Would definately stay here again."

"I visited Ayr to retrace my childhood holiday memories and pay tribute to my late parents. Burnside took me back to traditional guest houses with high ceilings and armchairs. It's a lovely place, very warm and welcoming. I had a great stay, and would highly recommend."
