Guest reviews for Rectory Farm
"The Location was good for us and the rural farm setting was pleasing. Nice walks for us and the dog"

"After reading some of the reviews, I didn't know quite what to expect. What we found was a friendly reception, lovely clean room with everything you could wish for in beautiful grounds. The smell of breakfast was lovely, although we chose to venture elsewhere. Don't be put off by some other reviews."
"There is only 1 pillow each, so take another if you need more."
"The cooked breakfast was delicious! The location was spectacular for us to attend the Duxford Airshow. It was also delightful to walk to dinner at "The Plough" through the sheep filled fields!!"

"Tv poor signal, even for basic channels. Weird angle on bracket. Chipped tiles in bthrm. Was ok though as good price . (In Annex room 6A)"
"The "Rectory Farm" was not a farm; but, it was close to Newton's birthplace and many other local sights. It was located on the west edge of Cambridge. It was a good location to launch daily excursions into the area north of London. There was a very nice table to set up the laptop on and work. We liked the room; but, not the breakfast options."
"The "Rectory Farm" was not a farm-stay... it was a rather fancy Motel behind a fancy automatic gate. The breakfast was 16 pounds additional and it was indicated there was a 5 pound cost per night to park in their own parking lot. We had been at self-catering stays before we stayed here; so, we had a cooler with milk, and had cereal, fruit, bread and such with us, we just ate in our room. They took a 50 pound hold against my credit card in the event we left a mess; so, care was taken when we ate to keep the room clean. Better access to the room with the car would be easier if they left a wider gap between the cut-off barrels. I was told to just move one aside to get my car in... they stacked the half barrel full of bricks the next day which made it much harder to move to get my car in to load the luggage when we left."
"Breakfast was very good and tasty, and the room was neat and clean. I will consider this property again if I need to visit."

"Such beautiful grounds and lodgings. The breakfast room that looks out over the back garden is lovely. The staff member that served us breakfast was so kind to us, we really appreciate her!"
