Spanhoe Lodge

"The staff were very welcoming and helpful the room was all warm and ready for us and was sorted every Day with coffee tea and milk and biscuits could not have asked for more very attentive the only disappointment was the restaurant not being open on the Sunday band because it was February the pool sauna and jacuzzi were closed as don't open untill April which we understand"

"Not about the lodge but arrived on way to diverted traffic first and then when diverted we were diverted again which took us around in a circle back to the lodge again as accident then we had drive slow car upside down in the gutter then the nearest we got had floods every were on way then arrive was nice to get there were stuck for places to go due to flooding. And pouring down and places to fare to go out and at our time there pool closed and sauna which we understand as was February and was cold but they made sure we were ok every day we had nice valentine's day sunny and dry got some lovely photos out side round about in the lodge. and as lovely with our gifts to each other also thanks for teddy in the room called bonnie so cute thank you to the people who run the lodge we would go again but with pool and spar and jacuzzi open and zero flood so could get out more"

"Quiet, good parking, easy access, great swimming pool/ jacuzzi, beautifully clean, comfortable reception area, polite staff, totally relaxed and excellent stay."

"Bed mattress could do with being better. Had problems with sink emptying."

"Very spacious, well kitted for long stays. unfortunately I was only there for a night. I imagine the place on a long hot summer bank holiday weekend, pool, hot tub jacuzzi, perfect! Provision of general grooming and refreshments (didn't find milk in the refrigerator as stated but didn't need it)"

"Some old lady across the pool cabins kept peeping behind the curtains like a watch dog. aaaarrrgggh! Restaurant was off during my stay but the breakfast was fab. The property was very clean. However when getting into the bed one can easily notice linel fluff collected over years between bed frame"

"Large comfortable room. Breakfast was beautifully prepared and was delicious. Having an EV charge facility was also a significant benefit."

"Fantastic find, huge room with lovely comfy bed, tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities with biscuits and fresh milk in the fridge. Gorgeous setting, loads of parking, and to top it all off a fabulous breakfast, friendly staff and doggie heaven with off lead walks, what else could one and their pooches wish for. I would definitely recommend a stay in this lovely place, we’ll definitely be back."

"Location is great for anyone looking to go for some peace and quiet, the menu while small had something for everyone and the food was fantastic, rooms were comfortable and spacious and clean and the staff were friendly, welcoming and super helpful"

"Really clean, quiet location and a great breakfast. Rooms spacious, comfortable and showers fab. Plenty of parking and even have an EV charging facility. Reece and Neil are responsive and nothing too much trouble. Even got a beautiful sunrise this time This was our 2nd stay here and we will be back again"
