"Great stay. Staff is terrific. Free upgrade to a sea view. Amazing listening to the waves crashing all night. Great restaurant for dinner and the free breakfast was first class."

"The location is fabulous! Overlooking the sea. The hotel bar and restaurant area is very welcoming and comfortable."
"The breakfast was okay, but not as good as I'd hoped considering how lovely the hotel is - wet toast with poached eggs, limited choice..."
"Clean, recently refurbished to a good standard. Rooms have fans and blankets available. Tea and coffee provided in rooms. Some minor failings that are not worth mentioning. The hotel is also a bub - but that was not a problem as it was quiet type."

"View was excellent and breakfast met expectations."
"The room was smaller than anticipated."

"Carrying 3 suitcases up 2 flights of stairs, Bed was uncomfortable."
"Really fabulous inn with a wonderful restaurant with a water view. The room was spacious, the breakfast generous and delicious (with lot of variety). The restaurant serves delicious food as well. Perfect place to read a book by the lovely picture window facing the water or take a stroll along the boardwalk. Very cozy and welcoming. Very professional staff as well. Highly recommend!"
"The location has no public transportation and a 10-15 minute walk from town (about 20 minutes from the university). Taxes are difficult to get unless the inn calls for one. Not a whole lot of things to do in town, but it is still a wonderful place to stay if you are staying in Aberswyth."
"We loved our stay here! We opted for a sea view room and loved it. Room and bathroom were spacious for an older building. Pub below was outstanding! Breakfast was incredible! Owner and staff were absolutely great too."
"I suppose climbing very narrow steps would be hard for larger or older people, or someone with a lot of luggage. We liked it."
"Really nice and comfy. Large bathroom, comfy beds. Newly painted too. Facility was great, great location , walkable distance and friendly staff. Quite despite that it’s on top of a pub."
"Breakfast had to be ordered and was limited in options."
"The view from our room was stunning! Such a welcome sight after an exhausting day of sightseeing. The crashing waves lulled us to sleep each night. Great location and wonderful breakfast. The staff was friendly and evening dining was delicious."

"nice b&b in a village close to York next to a bus stop which links York with the moors countryside and coastal towns. convenient to visit both York and Whitby/Scarborough especially if you have a car. feels like a home than a hotel."
"We loved everything about Tower Guest House. The room was immaculately clean. The details were appreciated - power blackout blinds covering the large windows & blackout shade covering the skylight window in the bathroom made for a quiet and dark room, perfect for a good night's sleep; cold drinks in the small refrigerator; beautiful decor; comfortable bed; easy to use app to access information, order breakfast, adjust the room temperature, etc. The host was very helpful in offering ideas for our visit to York. We were permitted to park our car early in the day and stop in to use the toilet before walking in to explore York. We highly recommend this B&B. During our 21-day holiday throughout GB, this was absolutely the nicest stay we had of our 14 different accommodations."
