"Excellent price. Good WiFi. Beds were comfortable. Close to public transportation and right next to a bus and tram stop to the airport. 5+ minute walk to grocery stores and close to a few restaurants."

"The kitchen is VERY small for so many people. Not that many storage spots for guests food, the Hostel has almost as many spots for staff as it does for guests. A staff member moved our food to free because apparently we put it in a staff spot (not marked). Not a good place to put your bag in the dorm room. 20 minute walk to the city center, but in a good neighborhood."

"They need a fan to circulate the air inside rooms with high occupancy. Or something to freshen up the air you breathe in the room"

"The location, the board games, the shared spaces, the room. The staff managed to upgrade us the second night to the 6 bed room, but we almost paid 90£ for this (and we’d already paid 180£). Eventually it was cleared out and we got upgraded for only 3£"

"Bathrooms were a bit eh, which I guess is expected from hostels in general. I couldn’t figure out how to have hot water water running for a long time so I had to fidget and have lukewarm, or it would come in cold and hot waves."

"This hostel was in a perfect location to see many things in Edinburgh, and access trains and buses. It seems to be staffed mainly by volunteers, and I really feel that they pour their hearts into their jobs."

"I wish the kitchen could’ve been opened earlier. I was here for four nights total, and three of those mornings I would’ve liked to have access to boiling a kettle and making myself a cup of coffee before 8 AM. The facilities are old, but as well-maintained as possible. And I wish I could’ve been in a room with non-snorerers, but it’s the lack of the draw! I met some very interesting people and all seemed intent on having a quality vacation while saving money."

"Perfect for a stopover in Edin. I arrived right before 12am, and the hostel was very kind and accomodating. Comfortable beds, good facilities."

"I love that the property was right in front of the airport bus stop and a few supermarkets. There’s a kitchen to cook."

"The bathrooms were a little dirty. I did not like that there is no place to put luggage in the room and there is only one place with outlets for the entire room. It would be helpful to have outlets by each bed for people to have easy access and not worry about leaving their electronics out for everyone."
