A former coaching inn in the Forest of Bowland, The Spread Eagle in Sawley provides luxurious bed and full breakfast accommodations in Lancashire’s picturesque Ribble Valley. "They have a broad menu of well cooked food. Staff were kind and very hepful. The Inn is very well placed overlooking the Ribble with lovely countryside."
"The breakfast menu lacked fruit compote and diced fruit. There was a fruit bowl of unprepared fruit. The bathroom had nowhere that you could place your toilet bags. The room only had one seat, my partner had to use the bed to read. The Inn is on the corner of a very busy road and traffic noise is prevalent more than you would expect in such a remote location."
