"Discretionary service charge was added to the bill on check in without notification - increasing the price beyond expectations from booking.com. Room and service was pleasant though fairly basic for the price bracket and reputation of the Hotel chain. Bathroom facilities and amenities were also below expectation - requests for larger towels only resulted in receiving extra towels with no explanation. Overall stay was fine, though not as expected."

"It’s a lovely house and the landlords made the family feel at home the minute we stepped in. Double room for us downstairs and two adjacent bedrooms for our teenage children upstairs. Another couple was staying and we shared the drawing room/bar with them to watch the semi finals of Euro 2024. Very clean and pleasant home, great breakfast, good hiking, a few minutes by car to the beach."
