"The apartment was clean and spacious with great facilities and a beautifully maintained and peaceful garden. There is a small shop next door and the beach is only a 10 minute walk. I only spent two nights but would have loved to spend longer as it's in an ideal spot to relax and explore West Gambia at will. Hadiza and her daughter were brilliant hosts, very welcoming and helpful."

It is one of the most enjoyable places I have ever stayed, and probably #1 out of all of them if I go back in my mind and look at all the top places I’ve been. Mount Pleasant is absolutely a little oasis in the desert. I enjoyed all the greeneries. How they were layed out gave us a lot of privacy and the quietness we experienced was beyond comforting. How the villa was layed out with 2 bathroom for the 1 bedroom for guess made it so homely. The place was designed as if it came out of Homes & Gardening magazine. This place would be my number 1 pick again if I rented again in the Gambia. For the amount we where charge per night, one gets more value for their money than they expect. The hospitality we received was above and beyond…1st class. Thank you for everything"

"We received a warm welcome and immediately felt at home. The apartment is spacious and clean, and it was thoroughly cleaned every week. The location is also fantastic! In a quiet local neighborhood, with a convenience store right outside, a mini-market at the end of the street, and within walking distance of the beach. Hadiza and her daughter are there when you need them and will do anything to help, even pushing the car when the battery was flat 🙏"
