"Hostel Leon is a home stay with extremely nice and helpful host family, in a very convenient part of Quetzaltenango. The large mall with Walmart and a cinema is a few blocks away, easy to walk to, and Xelapan Tinajon. one of Xelas wonderful bakeries, is a 2 minute walk. The bed was very comfortable and small toilet was right outside."

"The hosts were so kind! When I accidentally left my water bottle in the room before a trek, they dropped it to the hiking company’s office on the other side of town to make sure it got to me! Such impeccable service, I’m so grateful. Thank you!"

"The place is ran by a nice family. Although this nice woman doesn’t speak any english we were able to have some small chat through google translator, however the father of the family speaks english so communication through WhatsApp good. I recommend to stay here some nights as the accommodation is nice, clean and you can also use the kitchen, shower, water or make a tea or coffee."
"Although the water doesn’t work during the night there is some supply water ready to use in the sink in case of flushing or whatever."

"Absolutely gorgeous property with incredible views. The sauna was a lovely addition and the sunsets were incredible. Really delicious homemade breakfast each day for additional cost and a shared kitchen with free eggs if you choose to make your own. Kenzie was so kind and made us a ceremonial cacao for free on Christmas morning - you must try!"
