"Very comfortable and well located next to a shopping mall with restaurants etc. The family were extremely friendly and helpful even giving us a lift to the bus stop the next day. We were travelling from Antigua to El Salvador and found this a good way to break up the journey. If you are stopping here I'd highly recommend this place."

"Very good location. The food in the restaurant is very good. The owner is very helpful. If you talk to him, he will help you to organize your boats and they will pick you up right at the dock by the hotel. Very peaceful and quiet"
Some of the staff need to be better trained. But there was nothing unusual considering the local standards.

"Juan and his wife were excellent hosts and made us feel at home immediately. The accomodations were lovely and very clean and comfortable not to mention the beautiful green garden. The location was perfect for exploring Panajachel and they were very helpful in advising us on how to get to neighboring towns. Something to be aware of is there is no key for the main entrance, so if you plan to be out late, it's important to communicate that. We are glad to have stayed at Hospedaje Eli and would be happy to stay again."
