"The space is pretty cool and has character . There were 2 other guests but it was obvious. Actually had a great chat with them . But the property inside has a charm to it . Open and airy. The star is the host who is warm and friendly and a local , so you get the vibe of actually being in Guyana . The host was very accommodating and me the stay feel very micasa sucasa. I would stay here again and again ."

The inn is located on a busy street; light sleepers may not find this place suitable.

"Everyone in Paea's family was so warm and friendly! We were immediately welcomed and made to feel at home. The room was private, and the strong fan kept us cool. The home is a short walk to the beach, and we enjoyed walking along the waterfront into town. It was far from city nose and peaceful at night. 'Ofa and Saffron picked us up from the airport, waited while we bought phone data, drove us to a market for produce, and then drove us to the store for other food before helping us get settled in. 'Ofa drove us back to the airport when we left and offered to stop anywhere we wanted to see as well. They are wonderful people. -Denise and David"

The airport ride cost is not posted online before booking (100 TOP each way), but taking everything into account, the cost seems reasonable; the family is willing to get you what you need in town, and they are lovely to talk with on the way. The airport is 40 minutes away even without any stops. Still, if you are a visitor on a tighter budget, you may want to find somewhere closer to the airport. (This wasn't something we "didn't like" but rather something we thought we would mention for visitors who may not know transportation in Tonga can be pricey.)

"The location was excellent near to the bus stops and restaurants. Plenty of places to eat, local and otherwise. Very quiet. The host speaks very good english and was very helpful and informative about things to do and places to go. Great experience overall."

"The place is a bit more than 1 km from the main road and it is easy to walk there. The room has comfortable bed, fan and also a table suitable for working. The hosts (2 sisters) are very kind. There is a takeaway food shop quite close (in front of the college)."

The wall between my room and room of the owner is from wood, so people can hear each other.

"It's located conveniently near the town center but still very secluded and peaceful. The bedding was extremely comfortable."

The food was okay but could have been nicer. Bring your mosquito repellent!

"Very friendly host (Jerry). Clean and good size room. Although we had booked the accommodation with the understanding that we had a private kitchen, we learned upon our arrival that it was a shared kitchen. In the end, the shared kitchen worked out fairly well for us."

No door between washroom and bedroom. Occasional barking dogs during the night. No desk in room (rather than baby crib). Some difficulty finding the exact location when arriving late evening.

"One of the best places we have ever stayed; we really did not want to leave. Super high quality apartment and very comfortable. Well equipped for a holiday stay (but no oven). Lovely views across the mountains and also down to the lake. Easy walk down to the lake with a nice hotel/restaurant and even a small supermarket at the bottom of the road. About another 20 minutes into the town itself, along the footpath. So great location; peaceful and quiet without the Bled town crowds and traffic."

The hot water system will drive you mad - if, like us, you were brought up not to waste water! And bring your own shower gel etc.

I struggled to get hot water in the shower for a while . The road nearby is quiet which is good for sleeping but not so good for public transport .

The room was great in a nice location, but the main reason was the people - Emanuel & his family made me feel extremely welcome in their home, helped me in every way they could & even picked me up/dropped me at the bus station for free! If ur looking for a place to stay in Lubango, look no further seriously...💯"

"I haven't eaten so can't comment in breakfast and such. I had to cook my own food for dinner, which is fine. REALLY nice kitchen and good Vibes..it's so peaceful and wonderful here. amazing breathe inside of a city. so grateful he has created this sacred space 🙏"

I have not much to say negative at all

"The property has a very good location, you can ski to the center and to the foot of the mountain. It is very clean and spacious, we booked two apartments and we are very satisfied with them. Wifi is okay, it works nicely. There’s parking and kitchen and two bathrooms and a toilet in those two apartments."

The owner was with us at the house, and he wanted to help us with the snow around our cars, but we didn’t always feel comfortable around him. He was cheerful and kind man sometimes, but sometimes he made unnecessary comments which were not needed in this type of situation since we are the guests there.
