"Very good stay at quiet place surrounded by stunning nature. The inside is quite new and very clean. Friendly and attentive owners who speak some English. Their daughter speaks English well. Muy bien!!"

"The location and view into the mountains are beautiful and amazingly relaxing. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The fireplace in the room is fantastic and is efficient. The food is really good and tasty."

Gardens and information signs in the gardens need serious attention.

Staff does not answer messages on WhatsApp ( as they said they do) so you need to go to the reception desk. Property is not as big as it seems in the advertising. But decks and cooking areas for the rooms are really spacious.

The entrance has a terrible road that if you don’t have a 4x4 is difficult to Access but the hotel has a Taxy that can pick you and drop you off.

The fact that we had a smoking neighbor who made us stay inside to avoid the smoke drifting our way which is a pity since our room had a beautiful patio area

"Rosita, the innkeeper, went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. She is a wonderful hostess. The inn is in a quiet location, close to the beach. The room came with a kitchenette."

Nothing, everything was spectacular

"The property is private and safe and situated across the street from the ocean and directly on the lagoon. It is serene and the locals fish in the mornings as kids from the neighboring village frolic in the water for fun. The pool is inviting and the breakfast every morning is good. Herman the care taker is the kindest person and a true asset to the team. He made our stay excellent! They provide kayaks and an SUP for enjoyment. The lodges are beautiful!!"

The treehouse has the restroom downstairs and they didn’t turn on the tiki torches or spray inside before we moved over there so the shower and restroom were full of mosquitoes. They don’t have a restaurant for lunch or dinner options available so you must leave the property for food, spa or grocery. The could offer an activity like bonfire or local tours.

There are taxidermied animals all over the place, but I guess it goes with the hotel theme.

"It’s my fourth time to be here, and I knew what to expect. We had two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and that’s was very comfortable. Well equipped with kitchenware, Very nice area, and the manager of the cabanas (I forgot his name) was very helpful."

1. The main problem is that you have to bring all the food with you (we stayed four nights). but it’s common to all cabanas in this area. 2. The wool blankets are quite old and very unpleasant, actually we didn’t use them, as well as the floor carpet.

"I had a great stay. Wandered around and enjoyed the island life. Took a night walk with the hosts who were very friendly and attentive. They picked me up and returned me to the ferry. I was able to use one of their snorkels and mask. The shower was excellent and bed was very comfortable. I had a great stay. Thank you!"

There was construction going on all through the day and doors slamming early in the morning. The construction crew were loud and abrasive. The door slamming has to do with the way the door lock mechanism is set up. The ferry brought me to island very early and wasn't able to check into my room until much later.

"Great for family, location was great all shopping center close by, supermarket and Mall. It felt like home l."

The wifi service wasn't not getting it in the apartment have to go out side.

"The staff were so nice! They all knew our names, asked us if we needed anything every time we saw them, and were always willing to go above and beyond. -Hiking trails: such great views and fun exploration (they have complimentary bug oil everywhere, definitely use it before hitting the trails!). -Food: Everything we had was excellent, especially Slate on Saturdays/Wednesdays. -Room: This was the first stay in Belize we had with really hot water and water pressure, the water was drinkable, and the fireplace with complimentary wood was so nice."

The road in and out can be a little rough after raining since it's all red clay. We got stuck while leaving after check out but they had a tractor there and pulled us out within minutes of calling, then followed us out with the tractor just in case.

"Such a wonderful place. Very much off the beaten path. What I appreciated the most was that there are only a few cabins so there aren’t lots of people making noise and milling about. It’s quiet and cozy and mostly secluded."

"Friendly supportive staff. The log cabin accommodation was warm, comfortable and beautifully unique in the attention to detail, artistically designed carved wood, stretched leather, fur chair and stone framed mirror. Husky ride was fun learning about their training from friendly staff. Highly recommended for a comfortable and unique experience."

Couldn’t improve this stay it was excellent. Just wish I could have stayed longer.

"The property is gorgeous, with a little walk you are right on the beachfront, and you are right next to the french quarter which is perfect for going out, restauration, and the Abissa festival! Precieux was super helpful with everything we needed, and they were flexible with our checkout and letting us leave our bags for the next day. It's not directly on the beach, but the property is lovely and the beach is right next door."

"The room was more better than we expected. It was clean and very back to basic as we wanted. When you walk out you are straight in the outdoors where you can go on a walking safari or hike to the execution rock as we did, what was stunning!"

The restaurant only offered buffet dinners and breakfast during our stay. We weren't that hungry and felt forced to eat there which was a bit disappointing.
