"Host couldn't have been more welcoming, friendly and informative about the apartment and location."
"The beds could have been a little more"
"Very well kept apartments - perfect for me and my husband and our two daughters (17 and 20) - traditional Irish property. If you are looking for something sleek and modern, look elsewhere. If you want cozy and home and comfortable this is your space."
"It would have been nice to have coffee filters and a few other things (washcloths)…"
"Gorgeous big wall of windows facing the bay - lay on the couch and watch the clouds come and go over the mountains and water. Cute fireplace-like space heater in the living room for cosy look and heat. The kitchen was large and well equipped for a long stay. Separate bedrooms with en suite bathrooms were lovely. Well heated place despite the blustery weather outside. Location was great in good weather but we mostly taxi into Eyre Square whenever we needed."
"TV was ancient - local channels only. Mattresses were old and cheap - felt every spring. Owner and cleaner will enter property without a heads up text - made me nervous. Some small updates to the place and clearer communication would make this a fabulous lil spot."
"Such a charming apartment! Our gracious host, Sean, made sure this is the perfect place to stay for a 5-day visit to Galway. In addition to having a view of the bay, it is a very spacious, comfortable apartment, and has everything you need – washer/dryer, stove, pots, pans, coffee maker, etc. It’s about a 20 minute, beautiful, and interesting walk to the main attraction for us – the diving tower at Blackrock. It is walking distance to downtown Galway, although we took the bus, which you can pick up less than a block away. It’s also just off the main road with all the restaurants, pubs, and grocery stores, and even a short distance from a movie theater and great indoor community pool. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again – we had a lovely time."

"Sean, met me the morning of my arrival to give me the key and show me where everything was in the apartment. The location was very good, just a few minutes from the Prom and 20 minutes to the Center. I highly recommend Gratten House for your stay in Galway!"

"I love the location, the views from the room, and the ease of getting in & out. It felt very very safe. I love that I had a full kitchen & laundry. I also loved that I can open the patio door (view to the sea) as well as a view and fresh air out the bedroom patio door."

"The hostess Anna was warm and accomodating. We needed a place that slept 12 and this suited our needs. Katie cooked our breakfasts to order, which was great. The full Irish breakfast is an option."

"Staff was incredibly accommodating and kind. I was met immediately when i arrived (even though i was a little late from my drive down from Dublin), and they immediately informed me that heating wasn’t working in the room I booked, so they moved me to another. Room was incredibly spacious and comfortable and the location is very beautiful."
