"The rooms were very clean and the place was very close to the main attraction. A swimming pool on the terrace was a bonus. The staff was also very polite and friendly. A very nice vegetarian restaurant " Ananad bhavan " was like 1 minute walk away. The staff arranged an all exclusive taxi service for us."

"I loved everything. I was travelling with kids so the one thing which would have made it even better was an option of re-heating food and some kettle/ cutlery. There was a fridge to store food but there was nothing to heat it back."

"The rooms were pristine, spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed a restful two days in Kochi during our visit. We appreciated the AC and multiple fans to keep cool. Staff were helpful and able to provide some basic items when requested, such as a kettle. They also arranged a taxi for us for day excursions. The best feature was the excellent location, within walking distance to the major attractions in Fort Kochi."

"We were disappointed that the kitchen was essentially non-functional. The fridge worked, but it would have been nice to also have access to a microwave, kettle, dishes, and cutlery. A kettle was kindly provided to us upon request. It would have also been more convenient if the hotel had a water refill station available to guests."

"Good location. Nice pool. Helpful friendly staff. Secure and as secluded as can reasonablly be expected. It is definitely a short stay apartment style. Not a full service hotel. Lack of restaurant was a total non issue as there are endless eating options within 5 minutes walk. Local places of interest as again right on the doorstep."

"Was last in Cochin in 1986. Fort Abode was a pleasant surprise. Located close to a good coffee shop, fish restaurant (Fusion Bay) and bar with Heineken (Frances). Large air conditioned room with a closet cabinet, desk and luggage table. The staff (especially Sam) were helpful arranging transportation and for an overnight houseboat ride starting and ending in Alleppey. We stayed at Fort Abode 6 nights at the start of our Kerala stay and one night at the end."

"The swimming pool is only 4 feet deep. That did not stop me from using it! Better reclining sun bathing chairs are needed. The current ones are rock solid and do not adjust."
